Campground is clean and attractive, although a little "close". 21 mile drving loop was gorgeous.

Excellent campground layout, with spacious sites. Solar showers a plus, although not in every restroom building and water can be lukewarm in cloudy weather. But a welcome amenity that is unusual in national park campgrounds (except when provided at a central concessionaire facility).

A very enjoyable experience. The campground facility itself is fairly compressed area with a lot of sites in a confined space (particularly compared to other NPS campgrounds), but wow, the sites themselves are top notch with quite level, concrete pads. The NPS did an amazing job preserving the Sonoran Desert flora between sites as much as they could. Generator hours are a bit noisy as many RVs took advantage of the morning and afternoon allowable windows to power up, but compliance was quite excellent when outside the generator windows. Overall we had a great 3 nights in the Monument and took full advantage of all the marvelous sights. Ajo Mountain Road and both hikes off of it were the highlights. Even saw a Prius on the road so theres your proof that its doable in most any car youre comfortable getting dusty.

This is a lovely desert park. Well kept. There are lots of hiking options and plenty that are not hard! The sunsets are gorgeous. The staff at the visitor center is helpful. This is one of my favorite campgrounds!
