Beautiful Sonoran desert, beautiful views, beautiful monument. Campground and facilities are clean and well maintained. Weather was perfect in mid November. Abundance of hiking trails.

It was simply wonderful. Camping among the cacti, the peace and seclusion.

Perhaps our favourite desert campground. Stunningly beautiful. Great visitor centre. Campground is well maintained as are the trails. We really appreciate being able to camp in a non generator loop.

Great care is given to this camping ground. We had a crushed gravel drive through site that was somewhat level and a concrete pad with picnic table and raised charcoal grill. The restrooms were well placed so that no campsite is too far of a walk away. The toilets near us also had a shower. My only complaint was that the water felt like it was one degree from being ice. I must say that besides its invigorating effect I saved gallons of water by getting the whole task done in record time ;) Trash and recycle bins were conveniently placed near the restrooms. We used the dump station and filled our potable water tank with ease. We really liked the visitor center and were so grateful that it sells hats because I forgot mine. I may never pass that way again but I sure am talking to our friends about the great visit we had. Thanks so much.

Fantastic place! Quiet desert paradise. Clean everything. Trails, cycling, ranger programs, mountains. Whats not to love?

This is a pristine and scenic campground. The cement pads are awesome and there's plenty of room between sites. The availability of 'no generator' campsites is beyond delightful. The quiet evenings & days are restorative. Mexico T-Mobile cell service is fine. We actually streamed a football game last year. The Texaco Travel Store in Why has a small hardware section and RV/camper's supply section. We somehow lost our hitch pin and purchased the correct pin at this store. They saved us! Granny's Kitchen next door is a good place for breakfast/lunch.
