Everyone was excellent, friendly & knowledgeable. Enjoyed the star parties at the Amphitheater. Campgrounds were perfect. Will visit again.

Nice campground with spacious sites in a beautiful green desert. Visitor Center staff is very friendly. If you use the solar showers during the cooler season, bring a shower bag with warm water or you will take an ice cold shower.

Beautiful, quiet park, nice, clean campground. The water main broke on our last day which made me sorry for the staff members who were working hard to make things right. We will return!

Our RV site was absolutely beautiful and the trails are excellent! Its like being in a private botanical garden. Very pristine! But in December the solar showers were cold, very cold.

The campground was very well maintained. I wish I would have known what time of the day the solar-powered shower would have produced hot water. I showered in cold water round 8:00 am.

A beautiful campground, especially if your site is at the end of a row with a view of the open desert

Very clean well run park. The generator hours would be better if started at 0700.

Very nice campground with nearby trailheads. Something here for all kinds of campers - big rigs to tents.

Beautiful camp ground and park. Lots of border patrol and rumors of illegal activities did detract from the otherwise enjoyable stay.

Beautiful spot with well laid out campsites. Restrooms were clean and well-maintained. We will be back!

We stopped here in January 2020 on our way to Joshua Tree National Park in California. When planning the trip, we though Joshua Tree was going to be the shining star of this journey, but in retrospect we found that we enjoyed Organ Pipe National Monument and Twin Peaks Campground much more than Joshua Tree. The hiking opportunities in Organ Pipe are simply amazing and the sunsets are breathtaking. The park also offers van tours & shuttles that leave right from the campground and take you to some of the more remote sites if you dont want to drive yourself. You do need to make advance reservations for the tours at the visitor center. During our stay, the campground was probably less than 50% full, but we found the tours to be 100% full when we went to book our spots on the tours. We found Twin Peaks campground to be well maintained and well cared for by the park staff and visitors. The RV campsites are all pull-through sites with concrete pads, picnic tables & a charcoal grill. At our site, #95, the concrete pad was not level and required a substantial number of LEGO blocks to get our 25 foot rig level. Some of the sites had a shade structure over the picnic table, but the vast majority of sites did not. The tent sites were all pull in with level tent pads made up of the native sandy soil. The restrooms all contain flush toilets, and a few of them contain free showers. The restrooms were clean & well stocked during our stay. There is a dual lane dump station and potable water filling station at the southern most point of the campground. We experienced usable Verizon cell service within the campground with download speeds of 1.5Mbps and upload speeds of 0.5 Mbps. Verizon Service was adequate for work tasks including a few video teleconferences. AT&T Service was non-existent. In fact, our AT&T phone connected to the TelCel signals emanating from Mexico about 8 miles south of the campground, and I couldnt get any data through their service.
