The spaces are quite spacious and there is plenty of room between sites. There is one trail that pets are allowed on which is great.

Another amazing National Park/Monument experience. The hiking was fabulous. So much hiking available right from the campground - super cool! We were there six days and did all the hikes we wanted to do except Quitobaquito (it was closed) and Bull Pasture (We ran out of time). We will return to do those in the future. Alamo Canyon & Desert View trails were favorites - and the easiest of all the hikes. We also did the Ajo Mountain Drive, North Puerto Blanco Drive, South Puerto Blanco Drive, and into Senita Basin. This is a great park and the remoteness forces you to unplug. We did drive into Lukeville twice for ice & snacks. It was closer than Why. Great experience and recommend this National Monument.

Twin Peaks is a wonderful campground. We have a large rig and we pull a towed. But, all sites are pull-thru. The one thing you have to make sure of is your slideouts or awning. There are sites that have saguaro or organ pipe cactus right next to the pad. Ours was great for a drivers and passenger slide but our neighbors couldn't put their awning out because of flora right next to their pad. Look carefully at the pictures on recreation.gov.The picnic tables can be slid right under your awning if you wish. Their is a grill on each site also. Great views are on all sides. There are trails right from the campground. However, I think the best trail is off the scenic drive road across highway 85 from the campground road; Arch Canyon Trail. This trail gets tough after the first 3/4's of a mile but the rocks and views of the canyon are great. The drive to the park may feel long from I-8 but the campground is worth it.

Great campground. I wish the ranger programs were not canceled due to Covid - especially since they have all been lifted for the state.

Loved my stay at this campground. Very nicely maintained facility with good concrete pads for RVs. I really felt like I was camping with my RV in a desert garden with all the wonderful and various types of cactus around.

For the most part the park was very quiet and peaceful. If anything was to change I would say maybe farther apart for the rv,s.

This campground is a gem! The spacing is good and there is enough vegetation between sites to give you a feeling of privacy. Everything is very clean and well kept. The parking pads are just off level but itโ€™s easy to level up quickly. We loved the nearby walking trails. The dump station is very handy and there is water there for filling your fresh water tank as well. Wish we had stayed longer!

The campground is huge, though about half the sites are closed off and unavailable for campers due to Covid. Two shorter trails are also dog friendly. Because the campground os so close to Mexico my phone thought I was in Mexico and so had pretty good roming service, otherwise I doubt any service would have been available. Highly recommend the 21 mile nature drive on the smooth dirt road across the street from the campground, but get first get the free pamphlet gor the drive at the visitor center. The Bull Meadow hike along this drive is a tough 4 mile loop, lots of stairsteps. The cactus surrounding the campground are as plenty and in as good health as anywhere. This is quite a beautiful park. Given the number of hikes and day trips we could have stayed twice as long.
