Rangers at the Visitor Center were very helpful. Campground was clean and well-monitored by volunteers. Our tent site was fantastic! Showers were a bonus and the availability of evening programs was stellar!

A favorite winter camp for me. The campground hosts are doing a great job. Restrooms were spotlessly clean every day and the campground quiet and dark.

Great time. Staff was very nice. There was one camper snoring very loud, but that's not the fault of you.

Nice campground with great views and good hiking trails nearby. The tent area is away from the RVs with generators. The restrooms are clean and have free showers. Water spigots and trash cans are located conveniently. Interesting evening programs in the adjacent amphitheater. We have stayed here multiple times and plan to come back.

Campground is clean and quiet. You are very close to other campers, even in the tent sites, so you have very little privacy. As long as you are okay with that, it's a very well kept campground.

Beautiful area; campsites spotlessly clean; washrooms even my wife would approve of; spectacular sunrises & sunsets; as a tenter, I really appreciated to find that sites specifically for tenting are separate from those with RVs & generators, making for a quieter & more authentic experience; five gold stars.

Excellent area to visit during the winter months. Campground was full but not packed and the evening Ranger chats were top quality. Recommend bringing everything you need with you, since resupply is not in the immediate area!

Clean campsite, bathrooms. Seemed like the management was up to the task of handling the full campground.

Is the water ever warm in the showers during the winter months? Otherwise nice campground, friendly and helpful staff.

This is a great campground. Beautiful views all around, clean bathrooms, the sites are really taken care of, and you are not right on top of your neighbors. Plus there is easy access to trails right from the campground, so you don't have to drive anywhere.

Great campground. Not crowded when we were there in mid October. I was disappointed that the bathroom closest to our site was closed for the season.

So cool to be able to camp amid the cacti and other desert plants! It was already summer and it was hot, so the campground was deserted except for me. Get a site with a ramada if you can. The solar shower was a nice surprise. For cellular (Verizon/Spectrum), I had received a "welcome to Mexico" text about data charges while driving on the scenic road, but I never received any extra charge, so the campground signal must have actually been coming from the U.S.

This campground was awesome! The bathrooms were very well kept up and even had showers. I had full cell service. There are several awesome trails around the park, I highly recommend staying here!

This campground was immaculate! Although sites are pretty tightly packed, it wasn't crowded when we were there at end of March. The trails in the area are super well maintained and the scenery is spectacular. We felt completely safe (not much illegal border traffic going on now that there's a wall). Some sites have sturdy new ramadas- check the reservation details to get one if you can! The town of Ajo was also cute, 30-min drive for supplies. The market has everything you need, including produce. Why also has a small min-market, but Olsen's in Ajo is a big supermarket/hardware store.

Very fine facility, well equipped. Very quiet and dark at night. Great that several good trails leave directly from the campground.

I stayed just two nights, wish I stayed a little longer -- there's a lot of hiking available at Organ Pipe! I was in tent-only site #183 which had a large sunshade, but in late January the sun was low so it only shaded the site's picnic table for 2-3 hours midday. Not sure why, but it seems only 2-3 tent sites per row have such a shade. Bathrooms were clean, water was potable, I sometimes had reception with Google Fi. The soil was compacted in some places on the tent pad, but there are so many rocks you can use instead to secure your tent.
