It was nice to see these unique cactus in the campground. If you tent camp, try and get a site with shade. Or bring a shade tent.

Very well run and maintained campsite. The campsite hosts and everyone at the visitors center were very friendly and helpful. Lots of great back country roads and trails to explore.

Nice campground but privacy from one camp to another is pretty lacking. Folks show up with attitude, I like my music and you should too, kinda sucks. Scetchy cell coverage so reservations at visitor center wifi is suggested.

I was literally the only one at the campground during my weeklong scheduled stay. I decided to not stay the entire week as planned due to being seven miles from the Mexico border and the only camper. I did take the opportunity to scout other campsites for a future stay.

Wonderful experience! Campground has many sites, so natural landscaping between sites was appreciated. Only drawback was a few loud campers, but they did quiet down eventually. Scenery is outstanding, perimeter trail around campground is nice, too. Enjoyed Ajo Loop drive and hikes in that area. Visitor Center is worthwhile, and walk out back of center very good... Oh yes, the solar showers-a gift!Hope to be back in the future.

Beautiful views, clean bathrooms, orderly campsites! We especially loved the ranger evening talks in the amphitheater! We are definitely going to visit again.

Well cared for campground, we loved our stay! Sites are packed in, but we lucked out with no neighbors on either side. Welcomed in by a gorgeous sunset and howling coyotes.

Staff was great. Both the gate staff and the maintenance staff. There was a toilet running wild (constant flushing) and they addressed it amazingly quickly. Also, clean, great amenities, and great trails.

Severe lack of toilets for non RV campers. One bathroom facility open for about 50 tent campers and the mens have only one toilet in the bathroom. Not a safe sanitary situation.

The park service does a great job taking care of the campground. We were tent camping and the site was nicely prepared before our arrival. There is a raised area raked flat for the tent site, a picnic table, and a grill. The campground was quiet even on a holiday weekend. Next time I'll remember to bring a table cloth. We had folding chairs which came in handy.

We drove over to Estes Canyon and the Bull Pasture hike. I would highly recommend it.

Our stay at Twin Peaks was very enjoyable and I would have given 5-stars except for the restrooms. We were tent camping and stayed 3 nights. One of the nights the tent camping area was completely full and due to Covid, only one remotely close restroom was open and it only had one toilet. That's pathetic considering there are close to 20 tent camping sites. We were tent camping for 3 weeks in southern Arizona and this was the only campground with inadequate restroom facilities for the number of people camping. We did appreciate that several rows were closed and it was easy to social distance between sites. We also enjoyed the trails at Twin Peaks and the Ajo Mtn drive. Weather was delightful. It was also very convenient to have the first come, first serve sites that were not reserve-able but were available when we arrived.
