Love the beauty of this campground. The. Hiking trails are well defined, some are very easy, others are more moderate. It is so peaceful and quiet here. The sites are not too close together, all with cement pads. The showers are solar heated, so timing is everything!

We originally planned for 2 nights and ended up staying for 10 days. We enjoyed hiking at least 2 miles per day and still left with many trails not covered. Also enjoyed bicycling the Puerto road. One disappointment was the lack of hot water in the solar showers. They could probably use some larger storage tanks, better insulation, or some supplemental heat. The dump station was very convenient to use and allowed to stay a long time in our motorhome. There is also plenty of solar access, and we only needed to run our generator once on a rainy day for an hour or so.Rangers and Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Thanks for a very nice campground!

The campground was beautiful, well maintained, and the spaces provided privacy. We especially enjoyed the hiking trails around the campground that allowed pets. A great visit.

Beautiful place and a nicely designed campground, but considering the heat in this area in the summer and even spring and fall, it would encourage more people to come if there were electrical hookups at least at some sites.

Very nice campground. Due to Covid-19, only one bathroom was open and they switched it daily. Would seem to me, the more bathrooms the better with a virus. I didn't think that made sense. More people than I thought there would be.
