These were the cleanest, nicest campgrounds I've stayed at within the parks system. Absolutely stunning AND to have all the cactus' nestled within your campsite...incredible! I slept on the ground, no tent and saw so many stars you could barely make out the constellations. Waking up to a sunrise backlighting cactus' WOW. Did the hike through Bull Pasture to Mt Ajo which is unreal and the hike out to Victoria Mine from the campground. Amazing place and absolutely surreal to see the border towns/farms and wall in the distance.

Beautiful area, and the campground was clean and not overly crowded. The bathroom was clean and while the solar heater didn't kick in for me, the temp was perfect after an intense hike! Potable water all around the campsite is really handy, and appreciated. Especially being so far out. Would love to get back and do more hiking, even though I did several during my stay there. I've always loved desert landscapes, but this national monument is truly something special <3

It seems as though the toilets and cleaning up facilities are a bit limited for the tent camping areas as there would be large backups in the morning and evenings. 30+ sites and only one toilet and shower with no urinals on the men's side and only one clean up sink for washing dishes. The RVs don't need all that bathroom space and they have their own. We found ourselves trundling down to the group site to use their facilities or going up where the Big RVS were because they don't use theirs either. But for desert camping this is AMAZING!Bring your own shade! the trees are limited at best.

Fear of packrats will keep me away from now on.Complete absence of rangers in campground is not good. Bathrooms are good, and clean. On the positive....my site in # 196 provided a terrific view of the Sonoran Mountains to the south. I recommend that farthest loop for anyone with a tent--- and plenty of night lights around the tent to stave off the rats. You will not have the usual "approach experience" when driving toward Organ Pipe. it's more like passing through an armed camp with border agents very visible and no viewing turnouts. Gas is far, far away-- so beware.
