We spent 4 nights at the Twin Peaks campground. What an amazing experience. Great hiking, beautiful desert vistas, and night sky's. Very peaceful during the night as well. I would highly recommend it.

We've camped here many times over the years. The campground is large with over 180 sites. It's well run, kept very clean, facilities are good, and educational ranger talks every day are a bonus. There are many campsites designated as no generators which is a very thoughtful way to lay out a campground. One note of caution is to keep your vehicle's hood up to prevent rodent ( packrat) damage to electrical wiring. Two years ago I didn't need this advice which resulted in my needing a 100 mile tow to Buckeye.

Nice campground with warm showers! Note that no fire pits, but instead fires in the grills instead.

Beautiful national park. The campground is large, but clean & has adequate space between sites. Great activities with nightly programs and daily activities at the visitors center. This was a great home base for experiencing the park.

This campground has been laid out to accommodate today's variety of campers with rows designated for large camping vehicles using generators; smaller RVs not using generators; and tents located furtherest from generator users. The sites and bathrooms are clean. Views of the desert are beautiful. The park has many nice hiking trails. We will come again.

Great campground, nice pull through sites with concrete pads. Nice bathrooms, flush toilets, showers were always clean. RV dump and water fill available and drinking water is available at multiple locations in the campground. On the map the sites look close however nice desert landscaping provides separation. Hike over to Victoria Mine is a nice walk available from the campground. Nice campground walk around perimeter.

The sites look pretty packed in but we found plenty of privacy from others. They also separate the generators from other non-generator spots so look for those. The Ranger talk at the amphitheater was fun and informative. There are a lot of paved lanes throughout the campground to ride bikes, and paths around the campground to enjoy the desert. The only thing missing from making this a 5 start campground is the lack of fire pits. They have raised grills to cook in but no fire rings. To us, that was a major and unwelcomed surprise. Camping is not camping without a fire.

The National Monument is beautiful. The visitor center is great. The hiking trails are interesting and varied. we were disappointed that Ajo Mountain Drive (and the hikes accessed via it) was closed and the southern border roads were closed. This information was posted on the website before we came, but it was our only opportunity to come.Twin Peaks campground has reasonable spacing between most sites, many but not all are level, a few have enough surrounding vegetation to lend some privacy, many have nice views, not have hook ups. Our advice is to make a reservation but drive around an look for nicer open sites, check the website as you drive (because the "Reserved" signs did not seem to reflect reality) and switch to a better site if you find one. Also, new charcoal grills were installed (at least in the non-generator sites). Half the bathrooms were closed (prior to Dec. 1), so the walk can be fairly long. They were kept clean but are not that modern.

Campground is big but nicely spaced. And the separation (RV's with generators, RV's without, and tents) helps tremendously. The evening campground programs were well done. Organ Pipe NM has some excellent scenic (dirt) drives and hikes. I especially recommend the Ajo Mountain Loop and some of the hikes off of that road. Quitobaquito Springs is an amazing oasis very near the border in the midst of a pretty barren desert!

Love the set up of the campground, separating the larger campers with generators, from standard setups to tent campers. Especially appreciate the solar showers. Finally the ease of the reservation website to get that perfect campsite.

Spotless and well maintained campground. Stunning views, sunrises and sunsets. Wonderful trails nearby. Don't let the parking lot appearance throw you off. This place is beautiful, and everyone was quiet and respectful. The on-generator sites especially nice.
