An amazing location with some of the most engaging and informative Rangers weve ever experienced. Sites are flawless, entire property spotless. Zero issues with any of the facilities. Next visit will be for the full 14 nights.

Organ Pipe Cactus NM is a really special place, with wide vistas, cool cacti, and awesome sunrises and sunsets. Although campsites don't have hookups, the campground is large, well set up, and has restrooms, water, and dump station, and a nice number of ranger-led programs in season.

This is a great campground. It is really big but somehow the layout is such that it feels very private. Rangers programs are varied and interesting and well attended, hiking right from your sitebeautiful place. Fires were not so abundant that it was a smokeout and campers were really respectful of eachother and the place. Nice and clean! Solar showers worked pretty well even in partly cloudy conditions and brilliantly in full sun. We will look forward to another visit to this green desert and our friends in spines.

This Place is a Cactus in the Desert Paradise! This was our 3rd visit in 6 Months. The campground is impeccably clean & well maintained. All the staff & Rangers are helpful & friendly. All the sites have adequate space. If you are a birder, the birds are pretty abundant. We will be back soon.........

Outstanding campground, especially because they can accommodate so many campers and have done that in a very natural and respectful way. Yes you can see all your neighbors. There are cactus at all or at least most of the sites, the pads are flat and have an extra width in the middle-- good for yoga or other space. The solar showers are clean and have excellent pressure-- cool in the morning, scalding at the end of the day and ideal at noon. One short hike from campground is perfect for sunset, several longer hikes lead out to abandoned mines through beautiful desert.

Very well layed out and maintained. Toilet facilities spotless and all the amenities we needed (incl showers!). Quiet and considerate clientele. Very helpful Visitor Centre staff and spectacular loop drive through the surroundings. A memorable example of the local desert habitat.Well done !

Plusses:
Good spacing and relative privacy of sites provided by vegetation compared to number of sites and campers.
Convenient trails right from the park and informative interpretive signs. Well-kept trails with no litter!
Two dump stations, a real plus at checkout time.

We had a wonderful trip and enjoyed out campsite. Glad that there was an RV section where generators were not used. The bathrooms were very clean. Solar shower was a brisk experience but we were there after the first of January.

The sun was out all three days and we had a beautiful January trip. We were not aware of several ranger-lead tours that were already booked when we got there, so be sure to look for these on the nps.gov site before you go. We still had plenty to do, enjoyed ranger talks at the visitor center, and hikes on our own off the Ajo Drive loop. Campground and bathhouse is pristine and we enjoyed being in the "no generator" zone for a quiet stay. The solar showers are a great concept, but were a bit too chilly for me! Overall we had a fantastic time and plan to come back again.
