Make sure you understand the campground is split into 2 sections, GENERATORS and no generators. Don't make the mistake of going into the wrong section. Every day from 8am-10am and 4pm-6pm ever generator will be fired up and running. So if you don't want to hear this get as far away from that section as possible.Otherwise it was a really great campground. Several times a day the rangers had different things going on that you could attend. The place was clean, bathrooms were great. Its a nice basecamp to do some dirt/offroad loops from.

Would have been 5 star except for lack of shower possibilities.

This is a beautiful campground, well maintained and well laid out, a lot of campsites in a small footprint, but never feels crowded. Love the solar showers!

Great campsite. Solar shower could use improvement for warmer water in the winter.

We love this park. The staff and volunteers are very helpful. Wonderful hikes especially desert view from campground. The 21 mile Alamo canyon tour is informative and beautiful with hikes from road.

The campground was very convenient, well thought out.
The park itself was beautiful and had many trails to follow - on foot and by vehicle. We will be back.

We enjoyed our stay, but the rotation of locked restrooms due to staffing problems was an unfortunate irritant. The staff who were there were all delightful and friendly.

Great stay, perfect weather and good neighbors. We will come back next time we come through the area. The hike to Victoria Mine was also great, we started late afternoon and had a sunset view on the return trip, perfection!

The sites are paved, flat and surrounded with desert vegetation. The park is very beautiful with lots of hiking and drives. One of my favorite places to camp.
