The sites were very well maintained (sand raked and pad blown clean) and the bathroom was very clean as well. We really appreciated the perimeter trail to walk the dogs on.

The Joshua trees were really beautiful throughout this campsite. Everything seemed well-run and bathrooms were clean. We really enjoyed our 2-night stay.

Reservation and check-in was easy. Campground was well designed with non-generator sites near tent camping, so quiet. Restroom clean. My only complaint would be to allow leashed dogs on all trails.

Exquisite campground, meticulously maintained, great trails, amazing Sonoran desert, overall fantastic spot for camping.

Great campground. I love how they separate generator/non-generator areas. I wish more campgrounds did this.

This campsite is very well maintained. Concrete pads and easy to level your rig. Beautiful trails that are in good shape with spots in the shade with benches. Close access to Rocky Point and Ajo. We have made reservations for next year because we loved this campground.

My 3rd trip to this beautiful part of Arizona has brought disappointment. Great camping spots, roomy spaces, good separation for generator, non-generator and tent only. We found campers with a RV in the tent only. Also, in a spot that showed available for booking on the web site. Total disrespect for all campers but apparently knew the Rangers who visited and allow this to happen. Speaking of rangers, in previous years extremely, polite and considerate, this year not one ranger ever got out of the vehicle only an occasional drive around. The NO dog trail is not patrolled, and the dog feces is TERRIBLE on the trail. Especially, at the rest benches. You can't sit down for the dog poop and flies. Plus, they are also using the amphitheater for their dogs, as the feces lays between the rows of seats. No one cleans up and most dog owners are carrying empty bags with them and are boldly allowing their dogs to "Go" anywhere and walking away, even in the interior of the campground. It is a shame this disrespect of the environment and fellow man, is left unchecked. I used to give this campground a 5-star rating but feel the 3-stars was generous given simply because the views and sunsets are incredible.

Beautiful green desert park with a wonderful campground. No hookups but plenty of clean washrooms, some with solar showers and several water fill spouts. Spacing is average, with lots of healthy cacti separating sites. Our site had concrete pad and was level. Great views from campsite and several hiking trails within walking distance.

Had tried making reservations prior to arrival but which sites were which difficult to discern on phone. (Traveling and no computer). Discovered only about half full so showed up with no reservation. Person at nps desk said must have a reservation. I said ok I wanted a reservation for that nite but ranger said not able to do reservation less than 24 hours. Had a computer there so made a reservation (with difficulty knowing which sites were which and good or bad)(map of camp made all look horrible) paid for it on line then went back to desk and made reservation for that night paying for it. Thus paid separately for each night. Campground was awesome decent space between sites, bathrooms clean etc. would have been nice to have electricity to plug into but we were in van tent site and not there, electricity in the RV generator area. Nice that generator times were limited. (We specifically picked a site away from that area)A very nice camp especially since only half full
