A fabulous campground in a remote and beautiful desert landscape. Organ pipe, saguaro and other cacti everywhere. The campsites are a bit on the small side, but very well screened from each other, with concrete pads and picnic areas. Lots of hiking trails and scenic drives. No hook-ups, but bath houses, potable water and dump stations are readily available. We only stayed for 2 nights; no nearly enough.

Very wel maintained campground. Clean flush toilets. Nice visitor centre with great information and all rangers were very helpfull and enthousiastic about their job. The patio talks and evening amphitheater talks were nice. Interesting. Hikes all around the campground. And great desert views. The Ajo mountain drive and the puerto blanco north and south drive still good to do. And amazingly beautiful. We really enjoyed our 5 days at Organ Pipe Cactus NM, Twin Peak Campground.

Amazingly clean. The ranger talk about the oasis was very interesting, the ranger was an excellent speaker. Quiet, great trails, beautiful organ pipe cacti!

The layout is amazing; youd never know there were so many campsites because the spacing, angles and landscape of the sites yield a very private, quiet feeling. The bathrooms were immaculate. Not sure Ive had a better shower than the solar showers there. Campground hosts were terrific. Trails were fun. The 21-mile Ajo Mountain drive took us 3.5 hours because we stopped so often to enjoy the scenery. Photographed sunset with cactus and hills in view. Slept with windows open for first time on trip, with overnight low of 52 in mid-February. Highway 86 from Tucson can be a bit rough in spots.

Clean Campground, well managed. Activities around the location where perfect for me : walk to Victoria Mine 4.5 miles) and Mountain bike to Estes Canyon. (21 miles)

Well worth the trip!We wound up staying 2 extra nights we liked it here so much!No US-based cell service and we were on Mexicos TelCel H+ for the duration (fortunately Google Fi includes Mexico roaming!) and the WiFi up in the visitor Center wasnt much better. A simple banking transaction took 45 minutes, so do your important stuff before you arrive!
