Very quiet and few campers in off-season. Lovely spot and nice, clean facilities. Excellent hike to the Arch and loop drive in the Sonoran Desert. Highly recommended!

The campground is well laid out and each site is separated by vegetation. Because the sun usually shines there, we easily kept our trailers battery topped off with solar. They do allow generators in many sites at certain times a day though. The campground has solar showers, but I found them chilly. You need to know when to use them. We keep returning to Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument because of the beauty of the area and the good hiking.

Would have liked to stay the longer, however, with the new booking system, I'm maxed out at 21 days. The campground has over 200 camping spots, and during my stay, there wasn't any more than maybe 30 sites occupied, but I still had to leave.

The campground is very nice. I enjoyed the hiking. The low rating deals with unknowingly reserving a space where generators are allowed. Both in the morning and between 4 and 6 P.M. of course they are running which spoils the restful quiet. There are areas that they are not allowed which weren't available at the time of booking. Also for those of us that like a little spontaneity in our travels all sites must be reserved on line with show-up sites no longer available.

This is a fantastic campground. Well laid out, well maintained, clean, very nice restrooms-also clean, lots of space between campsites with vegetation between each, and lots of well marked and maintained trails. Just great.

We had a great view of the Ajo mountains and have always enjoyed the different desert vegetation. Showers are good if sun is out (solar). Nice cement parking for rvs and fairly generous camp sites. We will be back.

Great spaces & distance between them. Id give 5 stars but due to Covid finding a bathroom was difficult as they changed the open ones daily & no map to where the open one was was on the door of the closed one.

Beautiful park. Enjoyed a beautiful sunset from the loop-trail. Also, enjoyed learning about the desert plants. Nice clean bathrooms. Quiet!! Loved it!

This was our second time here, and we loved it this time just as much as last. The scenery is beautiful, and the campground clean and well organized. Sections were closed because of Covid, so it was not crowded at all. But the layout is such that even full the sites would feel spacious and uncrowded. Local hiking is great, and of course, star gazing amazing. We first checked this place out on Google Satellite View, and it looked very strange — like a big old drive in movie theatre in the desert. Didn’t look inviting at all. But it is somewhat hilly with lots of vegetation (Ocotillo and cactus) between sites providing a bit of privacy. Highly recommend.
