The park itself is very well maintained and clean. We have a 40ft Class A. The site we were assigned was long enough for our rig and Jeep. The problems were 1) The generator hours are very narrow (8-11am 3-6pm). Although we do have Solar the overcast skies did not allow for adequate time to charge our House batteries. The short generator time frames (only 6 hours total for an entire day) was not able to make up the list Solar time. We have to shut everything down at night (even the fridge) to ensure we had enough battery life to start the generator the next morning. Draining average batteries down to below 9 volts is damaging. We left a day early in order to keep our battery level up 2) although the site was able to accommodate our rig, leaving was a different story. Since the site behind has was vacant we decided to back out. Pulling out was narrow. The rear kick out would have caught some foliage that would have damaged the paint on the RV as possibly damaging the foliage as we tried to maneuver making the left turn out of the site. Backing up gave us more wiggle room. The plant life at the ends of the sites and along the narrow roads can scratch the sides as the encroach into the road way. Keep foliage trimmed back from the roads and site to avoid damage to the large RV's and the foliage, many of the plants have sharp needles. Extend the generator hours. The hours in Yellowstone and other national parks aren't this strict. We also left early because we have dogs and could not run our AC while we were out, you need to consider that also.

This was a nice campground. The "brush" needs to be trimmed back from the edge of the camp-spots. I don't like having to drag my paint on brush to get parked. The water fill at the dump station seemed really slow to fill my tank. Over all we enjoyed our stay.
