Excellent Natural Park. Beautiful camp sites, nested in Saguaros, Organ Pipes, Choya Cacti, Mesquite trees and Creosote bushes, and other shorter sage looking plants. One of the trails starts off from the SE outer edge of the tent camping sites too. Some sites have shelter structure, sturdy, covering the picnic table. 194 doesn't have shelter, but the one next door does,. There are external water valves, GHT type, near campsites in front my site, and at restrooms in RV non-generator and tenting sites. The Water was hot, of course there was only 1 other camper my first night, and about 5-6 when I left. The solar heaters work for the showers, almost too good; with fewer guests and 100 degree full sun days, maybe hot water accumulated without having many showers. The water is great, taste good too. All the water is hot right, even the outside faucets now Sep 29, 30., and Oct 1st. There were only a few other campers during my stay, more started to show up on the 1st Area was flat for tent and comfortable, many stars to see, so many even the constellations were more difficult to pick out. Excellent stay and worth the 100+ deg days in full sun, Hallelujah

Beautiful campground surrounded by huge organ pipe and saguaro cactus. Ranger programs in the evenings are very well presented and informative. Campsites are close. It's a bit confusing if you arrive without a reservation, as all sites need a reservation. WiFi is spotty, but attainable. Be aware that being so close to the border with Mexico, your phone provider will charge you extra for being out of the country.

Quite campsite, love the no generators section - it makes for a quite camp. The camp was not crowded when we there. Clean bathrooms, and the showers were a bonus although there was no hot water because it was overcast and the showers are solar hot water. Nice hike out of the campground, very informative Visitor Center and staff. We went on the 10 mile to the mines and the 6 ,mile hike to Bull Pasture. Very typical of AZ desert landscape. The only thing that was discerning is that you is the real possibility of smuggling and illegal activity as the signs throughout the park. It was a little surprising to see two Border Patrol vehicles on the hiking trails and cruising the campground. But there was also educational material about this and it gave us a perspective of the real issue and hazards of this activity and the impacts. I'm not sure we'll be back - we went on enough hikes to get the feel for the area and it's about an 8 hour drive from our home. But it won't be because we didn't enjoy the camp site or the experience.
