Everything was great here. We rode our gravel bikes on on the Ajo Mountain Loop and Puerto Blanco North. We saw two ranger talks in the evening that were very informative. My only complaint is the cold solar showers.

What a great place to spend some time. Great trails right out of the CG. As with any park, they are the best of what we have. Not to mention the Rangers.

Overall, a very nice experience. I even had some warm water in the solar shower a couple times. The people at the campgrounds are always so nice. Only exception is the male ranger who thinks a bit too highly of himself. Dont know what was with this guy but he gave me a hard time about not having some kind of pass. I biked down to the visitor center from the campground and he just gave me a hard time, from the moment I walked into the center he gave me his hard eyes.

nice and quiet. Nice that people come here to camp, not to be at a resort. Park Rangers and all the staff very polite and helpful.

Nicely designed campground. Very well kept and comfortable with separated campsites.

Liked the campground layout the overall appearance the screening between sites the general upkeep and cleanliness the separation of areas for tents no generators sometime generator use staff helpfulness professionalism and the price per night. What I didn t understand is the availability of water through the facility and the use of spouts rather than hose bibs where there was water availableI d like to return in the future.

We visited in early March 2020 and the weather was splendid. We had a great time hiking and bird watching.
