The park is very clean, organized and family oriented! Nice that alcohol and loud night activities are not allowed.Access to the river is easy and nice to have areas to walk (nature trail, around the park and up to the dam area). The volunteers and park staff were friendly and helpful, and kept restrooms clean and stocked. We've stayed here several times and really enjoy this park!

Great camp site . Big and spread out room for kids the play . Only issue wasn't with the campground but with campers driving a bit fast in the gravel kicking up dust .

This is our second year camping here, the first time was amazing. we didnt know what to expect since we never camped as a family ( with small kiddos) before but the first stay was awesome!!! The hosts were extremely friendly and caring. This second time around we camped for my youngest childs birthday and it was amazing. We drive 4 hours but the drive is absolutely worth it! The park is beautiful, I love how close the river is and theres a few spots to walk down and relax. One of The host brought us wood one early morning and it was enough for our whole stay which was about 5 days. The restrooms and showers were clean and well maintained. We had a late fire without any complaints and the kiddos played aIl around, our dog was welcomed also. Overall I love love this place. We felt at home when we stayed here. definitely plan to come back soon! If youre thinking about camping here dont think about it just do it! This is an amazing family/animal welcoming camp :)

The campsite was nice and kind of private. A lot of the campsites here are pretty open and theres like no privacy.

The sites with high numbers (above 67) are located in the conifers forest and do not have good grass cover. In addition it looks like some works have been done to remove the blackberry shrubs using tracked vehicles. As the result the weak grass cover was damaged and now the majority of the area is just muddy clay.
