Nice campground in a great location. Love the Gorge!

I’ll start with the positives on the campground! It’s very quiet, you have quite a bit of privacy with the majority of the sites due to heavy bushes/ trees. This also helped to keep the sun from beating on you and kept the majority of wind at bay. Also for vault toilets they were really clean, updated, and the smell was very minimal. On to the negatives though! The sites were really small, specifically if your tent camping the ground is uneven. You have room for one tent and any more you will have to put on the driveway due to that. A lot of the driveways were long so that being said, it worked for us. It is noisy being by the freeway but with earplugs it helped to be just white noise.

We were unable to stay even one night of our three night reservation. The sites were much smaller and uneven than the "Reservation.gov" lead us to believe and the parking pads weren't level. We had to put 2"x4"s under one of the tires of our trailer to get it level and that made me very uncomfortable. We were warned that the campground is close to an interstate highway and may be noisy, and the noise was a bit annoying Also the description of the campground states that it has "newly remodeled restrooms with flush toilets", they may be new but they are still only volt toilets. So much of the information was misleading which made it difficult to make us want to stay. I'm really bummed because we wanted to go camping and we have always trusted using Recreation.gov to be accurate, but not this time.

Small sites, lots of noise from trains and highway. But to be fair all the campground on this sids of the Gorge are going to have the same noise.

Oregon did a great job rebuilding after the fire, it's beautiful, quiet and peaceful up there, I will be back next summer.

I enjoyed myself here. Aside from the train and road noise, it was great. It lost a star because I had to go find the host, but other than that, considering the wildfires we had a couple of years ago, the CG was great.
