The campground host was very accommodating to our needs. We had an excellent experience.

The campground was very well maintained, bathrooms were clean and not smelly like some other places I have been with vault toilets. The sites are spread away from each other which makes for a decent size site and some privacy. The campground was saved in the Eagle Creek fire but you can see some of the burn and regrowth from the campground. It is far enough away that the sites are still shaded.We went on several hikes which ranged from crowded to seeing only 1 other couple. All of them were good hikes.As others have mentioned, you can hear the road noise from the interstate even in the back of the campground. Since its a beautiful place and close to Portland, I would definitely consider returning for another weekend trip.

Clean bathrooms, water. Someone had some soap at the water which was nice. Our site was close to the road but the noise didnt bother us at all.

Recreation.gov and the NPS is NOT GOOD for traveling hiking and backpacking. Crazy times we live in.

We loved camping at Eagle Creek because of the smallness of the campground and the privacy of the sites! And it was close to all of the great hiking trails in the Columbia River Gorge!
