This campground is spread out along the rim of the reservoir. My campsite was as the far end where mostly volunteers and seasonal workers reside. The good part of this is that it was very quiet. The not so good part is that there was no pit toilet nearby, though the other two areas of the campground had them. In any case, the campground was clean, the other campers were respectful. and the electricity worked. The water was questionable.

We only stayed for one night. Next time we will spend more time and explore the area.

Nice park with large campsites on the lake. Helpful attendant on duty when we arrived. Lots of open green space to walk dogs. Would return!

I loved this campground, pretty level site right by the lake, friendly attendant at check in and friendly people in campground.

Very nice COE campground. Lee will be back. Two issues that would make it better:1; not well marked directions early notice off highway when arriving (check in is 6pm).so, we followed GPS. We ended up on opposite side with a fifth wheel and had to turn around.2; the website says there are dump stations (plural). No map showing location. We never found one. No one at gate or answering phones at 11am when we were departing.Positives: we were parallel lake front, covered picnic table with concrete slab at site. Parking on pavement. Park ranger was courteous. Gate personnel was courteous. We reserved 4 nights 5 days. The park was quiet all day, evenings quiet except for day use area north of us. We enjoyed it and will go back. We have tried calling again to locate and mark dump stations. Have not called when phones are manned, apparently.

It is a pretty place. Lots of swimming, good fishing. A bit off the beaten path but that is a good thing, yes?

The sites are nice and the host extremely nice but we couldn't understand why no one had a tag hanging on their rear view mirror when we went to check in we had to wait for five cars to get out of our site because they were having a birthday party on the next sitte, no one had a tag in their window and I thought the rules and regulations for a core part was that you could only have so many people per site I know there must have been 30 people there at that site and we didn't even have a tag for our vehicle so we were a little shocked that people could just ride in and out of the campground without having any kind of pass, rangers were riding through, even sheriff's riding through and noone said anything about the large amount of people, maybe it's different at other parks

The improvements over the past couple of years have been great - new electric and water & esp. the 50 Amp service. All sites seem to be good, most large enough for our Motor Home and most sites well spaced with shade, picnic tables (some with covers), sites are level (most paved). Great Hosts - grounds well maintained. I've heard weekends get a little rowdy in the far south section - so we avoid it on WE's. Not much "sight-seeing" in the immediate area and the fishing is not that good - but still - a great place to relax.
