Was very disappointed. We reserved the handicapped site at Washington Cove and the rocks they put in are way too large. My wife twisted her ankle on large rocks. After driving around I noticed a lot of the sites were the same. You need crushed rocks. The maintenance was terrible lots of trees cut down and huge piles of branches that attract snakes. About the only thing good is the camp host she and her husband were very nice and helpful. We camp there several times a year but not sure if we will be back. It has really gone downhill in the past couple years.

Such beautiful place, the views were stunning. The staff very helpful. The only thing I thought was odd was they locked the gates at a specific time. Which was 10pm so if you left for an emergency, do was in town enjoying a movie, etc. You cave no way of getting back in.

Showers where not great in regard to water pressure and temperature.

Site #53 at Washington Cove was very nice!!! The sunsets were, most of the time, just fantastic. The one complaint we have was the size of rocks that were used for trailer parking area. They were VERY large and most difficult to walk on. One could easily twist an ankle! I approached a couple of the park employees and asked if they could put some finer rocks there but they said they could not. Had to use rock that was supplied to them.If you plan to camp there be aware of the rocks!

The park was very clean and well maintained. It wasnt overly crowded and fairly quiet all weekend.

The campground was very clean and well maintained. The rest rooms were also clean and well maintained, daily. Over all we had a great experience and will definitely be back.

Had a great stay at Washington Cove. We had a site with water, but the water was 70' away. We only had 50' of hose. Lucky for us there were several empty sites. The host helped us move to another site. We noticed several of the sites the water was a long way away.

We love staying at Washington Cove. The area is well maintained and bathrooms are very clean. There is a very nice playgrounds for the kids and a large shelter for big gatherings. The boat dock is nearby and a very nice swimming beach about a mile away. We are already planning on visiting this campground again next year!

Nice park great place to stay. Park is very clean. Staff was friendly. Sites were level. Now the things that could use some improvement. Definitely need to update the power system and the water. If you come here you better bring a long hose because water is so far away. Also only 30 amp service. Finally some of the roads are pretty narrow with edge drops offs that are pretty sharp. That being said just be prepared its still a good place to stay.

The electrical service needs a little upgrade. We need 50 amp service. But, the park was clean and an awesome view

We normally stay there every year in the handicap spot the last 2 years. This year they had put rock down that was so big it was a trip hazard and very hard to walk on. I love staying there so I hope this will change. The bathrooms had a lot of fiddle back spiders and my husband got bit. Er run. Its one of our favorite places so hopefully these issues can be resolved.

Its a nice park but the restroom by the playground needs to have some plumbing work done on it. The mens side kept plugging up and the floor on the women's side was constantly wet due to the water running out of the drain pipe. I do need to applaud the company in charge of the cleaning. They cleaned multiple times a day over the weekend.

The weather at Copan Lake was gorgeous and we camped with friends. Between the rain we were able to cook out and play games at the campsite. The only negative was that the campground was under a water boil order, but we were able to adjust and make the most of the camping time. Enjoyed the fireworks show on Saturday evening.

I realize the end of season but the rocks are to big in some camper pads especially for elderly. Rolled my ankle on big rocks and twigs in camp spot 68 need to be crushed. The camp host were there before and came back this year at Washington cove the best people that ever were camp host.

My stay was good. Bathrooms were clean and supplied with toilet paper. My campsite was comfortable and peaceful. The Rangers drove through regularly and are so friendly.The Cove is always my choice for camping.

site 77 is very long and pretty level. Water hook ups were pretty close and there is a good amount of shade. Area was clean and the view was great.

The pavilion/shelter was very clean, very well taken care of. We were having trouble with the electric not working but the park rangers stopped and graciously helped figure out the problem, only taking a few minutes to come up with the issue. Would definitely recommend to use and we will use again in the future.

Pretty level spot and super long. Had my Chevy and 33FT Camper with our Toyota pulling the jetskis parked right behind and there was plenty of room in front and behind us. I had to use my 100' water hose to reach the nearest water hook-up but I keep it packed for this reason so no worries there. The rangers and sheriffs were super friendly and its nice to see how frequently they patrol this campground.

Clean-up and maintenance at this campsite is starting to drop a little. However, we were able to get maintenance completed on a leaky water valve that needed repair. The maintenance person was quite cordial in his work and we are thankful for his service This campsite has always been maintained sufficiently over the years we have used it. I hope that maintenance does not drop off reducing the quality of this campsite.

Even though the water level was high and some of the sights were closed, the park was clean and well kept. The showers and restrooms were cleaned daily and area was patrolled by the park ranger often each day. Definitely would recommend this place for safe and clean campsite.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
