Nice clean sites close to the lake. Ranger was very helpful. Showers were push button but decent. Restrooms were clean.

This campsite is too near the entrance for some, but it was all quiet for me. Nearby trees were adequate for a hammock. Near the shower/bathhouse. and the pad itself was level.Very convenient to Tulsa and Sand Springs. Hiking is nearby at Two Rivers Trail (Keystone Dam) and Keystone Ancient Forest Trails.

We’ve stayed at Washington Irving 3 years in a row while visiting family in the area. You have to be careful which site you register for as not all of them are level enough for big rigs and the bathrooms could use an update but all in all it is a really nice place to camp for an extended stay.

If you’re in a tent don’t stay at the end spots of the circle. You’ll be blinded by lights they have pointed at you all night. If you’re in an RV you’ll be just fine. One of the bathroom doors on the right is finicky and you have to mess with it to have it shut correctly.

Wonderful place - nice and shady, clean restrooms, and everyone was quiet and polite.

I was crushed to see all the lower sites were gone. However the wonderful caretakers that will be running the gate this year explained the plans to make it nice and safe when flooding takes place as it occasionally can. I was there with a face book group called Camp Oklahoma. I was excited they choose this site, it has always been my favorite. I never feel less than with my goofy truck camper mounted on a trailer. I quickly noticed that the bathrooms weren't clean as they usually are, so I ran to Walmart and bought soap and some clorox clean up. This is the first time our group has come this far east and to a site so small. I wanted them to be as impressed as I always have been. The soon to be new host were wonderful, cheerful and came by often and answer everyone's questions graciously. Great job. See you again soon.
