The 30amp shore power would not work for our motor home. We tried 2 sights close by and neither would power our rig! Thus , it was a very discouraging outing for 2 days in the Okla heat. The wiring in the pole is not right. We left and went to another Rv park in the area and power there was good and we were able to finally enjoy our time at the lake. The power poles at Strayhorn need to be seriously upgraded. We will not be back until they are!

The site had an excellent view of the lake and the full hookup on level ground was very nice. Pad was level and clean and the accessibility was great for use of a scooter. Great for a disability site. Some more shade wouldve been nice, but everything else more than made up for it for us. Strayhorn Landing in general was nice and clean and a beautiful little camping area.

We have truly enjoyed our stay at Strayhorn. The gate attendants have gone above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. We love how clean and maintained the park is. We have appreciated the patrolling they do on the golf cart to make sure everyone is safe and taken care of. If you are lucky enough to get a spot here you WILL enjoy it.

Very well maintained park, friendly hosts, beautiful lake and the best sunsets in the state of Oklahoma.

Camp hosts were helpful with things and work to keep the place looking good.Bathrooms (showers) need to be refurbished, but that is a minor thing as long as they work.

it was cool and wet this trip... grass all green and wildlife active... Our kitchen water faucet started leaking and there was a person in the area that got it fixed for us pretty quickly... All in all it was a very good stay with the exception of the weather. However, I would say that being at Strayhorn in a raging thunderstorm is much better than home... the excitement is awesome and if needed there is a stable building to go to.

Wonderful camp hosts! Clean well keep park with many things to do if you don’t want to fish every day. We loved eating at The Bird & Bison located at Keys which is only a 30 minute drive from the Park.
