I love Strayhorn, but it didnt seem ready for campers in April this year. The largest bathhouse was closed, no hot water in the open bathhouse, fire pits were full of hardened ash, and my camp site was littered with corroded batteries. Disappointing.

Strayhorn Landing never disappoints. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Clear water. Usually a nice breeze.

This was our first camping trip to Strayhorn and absolutely loved it. We will be back next year!

There were dead tree limbs looming overhead and the north bathrooms had no hot water.

Some of the bathroom stools don't flush well causing them to plug up and won't flush.
Need to have new electric installed to accommodate 50 amp plugs.

We stayed at two different sites and both were nicely mowed, and clean. The camp Hostess and host were wonderful. Transformer blew but, but we had power within 45 minutes. The only drawback is only two handicap spots have sewer , but the view makes up for the lack of individual sewer
