We enjoyed the camp sight we had. The beach area was over grown in weeds, the courtesy boat dock was gone so it was hard to load and unload the kids on the boat. The camp host said the pay system wasnt working correctly, had a hard time paying for our camp. We reserved the pavilion and it was nice. We stayed at a corps camp at Pomona lake in Kansas and there was nothing bad or broken there. People were working and maintaining the campground and facilities like needed. Nice big bathrooms and showers. People were so nice and friendly. They wanted campers to come back. Wish it was closer to Tahlequah. I dont know what the problem is but feel like its in the management.

Dock in disrepair and in unsafe condition. Dead tree hanging over camp site we preferred. Several campsites unattended by occupants. Bathrooms in dire straits.

The camp hosts are friendly, and check-in is quick. The grass needed to be mowed around our campsite.

Good trip, only thing I would add for this trip is to remove some of the dead trees around site concrete pads. There are several long since dead trees that may fall and cause serious damage on camper personal items. Thanks

The park was the cleanest and most well maintained park of all the ones we have been to. The grass was mowed and the parking pads and tress were all trimmed. There wasnt any trash in the park and I witnessed the Park Host out picking up trash and cleaning sites as the campers left.We will certainly booked future camping trips there at Pettit Bay.

Camp experience good except people parking their truck and trailer in our camp spot that were not part of our group. Camp ground still needs mowed and felled trees being eyesore to look at.

Campground experience ok but grounds needed mowed before the national holiday, the grass was very high and bathrooms also needed attention especially with the traffic for the holiday

Beautiful campground with friendly staff. Gorgeous views, safe, friendly park Rangers, abundant wildlife, clear water lake. Private Marina is very nice with bar and food. Other campers seem polite and respectful. Only two or three of the sites have working sewer. Shower house water is cold; no hot water.

Great staff, great guests, easy in and out, clean restrooms, beautiful lake and campground. The only negative is 97% of the sites don't allow septic use because it the caps are pad locked and the system needs repair. You have to use the dump station.

The showers in Pettit Bay II did not have hot water. My site 8 faucet would not shut of allowing the area at my site to be exceptionally muddy. I finally put a 25 ft. hose with a nozzle on it to shut off the water from flowing. I realize that it was a Holiday but a skeleton crew should be on hand to attempt to fix these issues. The camp host told me that they were having problems with the hot water issue prior to one of the major camping weekends. Some areas had not been mowed nor weed-eated. I have been camping at Tenkiller for 56 yrs. with very few issues but I was disappointed this year.

We love staying at Pettit Bay (PB2)! The only complaint is most of the RV sewer connections are not working (my understanding is that only 3 work). It would be great if these could be fixed. The folks managing the booth and campground hosts are better than 5 star. A huge improvement over the previous year. Our experiences have been awesome: clean, neat, safe, staff available, friendliness, ease of reservations on line and great interactions with other visitors! I also visited the Ranger station near the dam and the service there was fantastic as well. Thank you all

Good views, but restrooms needed thorough cleaning and grounds were full of goat-head stickers. I can't imagine what people with pets were forced to put up with. Also, the water went out to all campers for a few hours one morning. Also, the camping sites were very close together. Good thing there wasn't a lot of noise, except for when the water stopped flowing. The marina had a nice restaurant, but that's about the only positive on my trip. I probably won't be back.

We love to camp at Pettit Bay. Close to home nice swimming area for the kids, good boat ramps but the loading dock has serious holes in the floor that really needs repairs. We use it loading and unloading the kids on our boat and we have to carry them over the holes. Theres some much needed repairs on the playground also, safety issues. We mowed and weed eated our campsite but it wasnt any trouble.

Our second time to this campground and loved it both times. One was off season, in the fall, not many people were around but still loved it. Poker run weekend on the lake and from our site, you could not have gotten a better vantage point to watch all the activity

Decent area for camping. The restroom and shower facilities are significantly lacking. Be sure to bring your own toilet paper and soap. Also bring a mower, weed eater, and blower. Youll probably have to clean up your campsite. The people that do this dont seem to care about this aspect of the park. Also, depending on where your campsite is, you could need up 100 ft of hose to connect to a water source. Good luck and have fun.

Campsite was clean and quiet, I think it poses a huge safety risk having the gates shut at 10:00pm if there was a fire or medical emergency the delayed time in opening the gate could cost a life or loss of property.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
