The park sits on Sardis Lake outside of Clayton, OK. Sites vary from very level to being difficult to level just about any RV. The sites along the lake are obviously the better sites and most will fit just about any size RV. And keep in mind, there is no cell service. The bathrooms however are very dated and keeping them clean on a regular basis doesnt happen. In fact, during our recent 6 day stay, they were never cleaned. If the lake is calm, the bays would be great for kayaking and fishing. As far as must-see, there isnt much close by. There is a small Choctaw museum, a grocery store in town. But in the fall, make sure you take time to take the Talimena scenic drive. Also, Robbers Cave State Park has some good hiking.

This campsite gets 5 stars in spite of the charcoal grill being rotted out and totally unusable. If you book A19 bring your own outdoor grill, blackstone or camp stove. We had perfect weather which made the experience totally awesome. The campground is quiet and clean. Bathrooms are well maintained no issues. Most of the Corp campgrounds we use only have 30 amp service, not here our 50 amp travel trailer was totally happy. We will be back!

10/10 recommend!! We stay every October for a 5 days and every year it has been perfect! Clean campsites, friendly staff, 1 of the women's restrooms didn't work this year but they had plenty more to choose from. We will be back for many years to come!! Our family loves it here!!

A beautifully kept camping area. We received a warm welcome from our camp host. So peaceful and quiet. The eclipse didn't disappoint.

Wishing the 50amp sites had sewer hookups!

This park was wonderful. It was quiet and peaceful. We saw several birds, squirrels, and even two beavers.
We did have some trouble with our campsite (A19) -- the grill had a hole in the bottom of it, and the grate on the fire ring was bent, so we were unable to grill on that. We camped in a tent, and the ground in some places was VERY hard, so we struggled to get our tent stakes in. Other than that, the weekend was wonderful! Bathrooms were VERY clean!

Camp sites are spacious and decent amount of shade. Bathrooms are very outdated and have an infestation of insects.
