Very nice campground, clean, well laid out, easy in and out.

Camp host were rude and interrogated visitors. Do not be outside you camper after 10 or you threatened to have the Osage county and highway patrol called. I will not stay here again. Grounds are okay and look to be making improvements. However water spigots can either be next to your cite or 100 feet away, come prepared.

Dump Station was always full (backed up) and unusable. However the hosts never posted this information by signage or anything else and when asked about it they just said, "Wait til morning and it will go down." Well it never went down. They also didn't make any effort to find or suggest alternatives locations to dump our grey and black water tanks. More should be done to notify campers when this happens and check out some alternative sites nearby and notify campers about it.

This place was enjoyable. Spot 17 is a little small but its well located and easy to back into.

Pretty well maintained CG on beautiful Birch lake. Clean reastrooms and showers, good access to the water and nice playgrounds for the kids. Friendly staff .
