Cold Springs Campground in Murray County is located 1 hr 18 min southeast of Norman, OK with an elevation of 958 feet. There are a total of 64 campsites. The campground is open all year. Sites can accommodate RVs and trailers up to 20 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring with grill. Fees range from $20.00 to $50.00. Some amenities include drinking water, restroom, amphitheater. Activities include fishing, hiking trails.

Always so family friendly, bathrooms are attended to daily and the host is great ( has a cute dog to boot)!

Such a lovely place. I just wish the campground was kept quieter at night so those of us guests who come to experience nature could enjoy ourselves. Even on weekdays other guests Iare burning barking dogs, loud rec bikes and atvs etc. the camp host tried to convince campers that a cow that was mooing all nights long was a buffalo. Too much trash left in the campsites, and bison dont moo. There was also heavy machinery going through the night. Weve stayed here quite a bit, but its time to stay somewhere else more quiet as the nonsense seems to have become a pattern. We love the park though!

had fun, just relaxing around the site and hiking. Site 54 in cold Springs is a perfect place near the bathroom for the kids.

The camping was excellent. The park staff wonderful and very helpful. I got to visit and get to know Bob the camp host. Great guy. The park rangers were so friendly. All the staff at TNC were great!Very pleasant experience.

They're absolutely too many cops out there. It was hard to have a natural experience in nature with law enforcement writing up and down the streets pulling people over and arresting them the entire time. Not saying that enforcement of the law is wrong but out in the forest camping maybe not the best place to rack up as many tickets as you can while people are trying to enjoy a peaceful outing in nature. I won't be bringing my family back there. I am all for law enforcement and support my communities law enforcement 100%. As far as trying to get away from everyday life in the city to camp just to find out there's more law enforcement operations out there than there is in my city is quite alarming.

Since it was the first of the week it was very quiet. There only a few other campers. Restrooms were clean and I liked that they were able to modernize the original CCC structure. The ranger that stopped by was friendly and informative.

We camped against the tree line and had a bob cat come and watch us for a while, wasnt scared of us and he got pretty close.

The camp host Mr. Bob was very kind and helpful. We stayed for a week and enjoyed the peace and the sound of the creek running by. The campsite was maintained well and restrooms were cleaned everyday.

We have camped in the Chickasaw Recreation Area for forty plus years but never at the Cold Springs Campground. We will be going back! The camp host "Bob" was exceptional and the best host we have ever had. The only downside was parking, however that did not distract from the overall experience.

Wonderful time with family and enjoying the springs. Other patrons were a bit loud and rowdy for my taste. Feels like a good first campsite experience for sure. Bathrooms are clean and area is clean.

Great place to cool off on hot days as you lounge in the springs! Campgrounds are clean and wooded. Definitely a great place to spend a day or two.

The camp sites are always clean & nice . The only issue I have had the last couple of times being in cold springs is other campers & their annoying barking dogs. I live in the city I hear my neighbors dogs barking ALL the time ! I go off to camp & be in nature to not have to hear that so it's frustrating

ive been coming here my whole life. I enjoyed bringing my young kids there. I stayed at campsite 63. The host, Bob was was very nice and helpful. Great with the kids, retired military.

I love going to the Chickasaw Nation Recreation area in Sulphur!! It is a great place to relax and enjoy nature's beauty! I enjoy camping where you can hear the water running down stream!! It is so relaxing! I would recommend it to everyone!
