Very peaceful campground with great sites. We tent camp in the RV sites. The bathroom is nice and well maintained, including showers.

Amazing visit. Facilities extremely clean, better than most rest stops. Campground was perfect. Close the facilities but with ample room behind us for our pup to investigate and a short walk to the lake. T-Mobile cell service was great and we couldnt have asked for more. Will definitely be back.

Our stay at 77C was quite nice. If youre in a longer rv you may have trouble leveling. A ton of the spots on loop C are sloped pretty severe. Very nice campground, and the lake was great. Looking forward to coming back in the future to spend more time.Make sure to check out Little Niagara Falls, and Travertine Creek for a nice cool swim session. Cant beat that cold water during the hot summer. Go to Little Niagara during the week day to avoid the weekend crowds.Phone service for Verizon is patchy.

Great RV and camp site with plenty of room between locations. Facilities were top notch. Lots of trees and beautiful walk down by the lake. Can't wait to go back.

I was there for a week. The campground and bath house was immaculate. James, the camp host was wonderful. The trails were great, the fishing relaxing.

Trails are sooooo poorly marked. Several times we found ourselves following paths to camping sites when we thought we'd been headed to a hiking trail. And....your trail maps are terrible.

We couldn't get into our reserved spot 77c. Too many trees, boulders and parked cars. We were lucky to find a first come site that worked well. The park ranger was most helpful in redoing the reservation. We were surprised and very pleased with the bath house facilities. They were probably the best we've seen. We scanned 3 OTA channels when we weren't expecting any tv reception. We love this gem and can't wait to go back.

Buckhorn campground is an excellent place to camp and the restroom facilities are first rate. Camped there many times.

We enjoyed our stay at Buckhorn campground Loop C site 77. Close to Restrooms/Showers. Overall the campground was clean, though they obviously don't do anything with leaves as they were all over the campground and campsite. They were covering the stairs (hazard!!) and most of the rv pad and picnic area. Shouldn't someone have come by to blow leaves off as it was December and all leaves had fallen long ago??The restrooms and showers were clean and nice. Only complaint, as others have stated, is the water for the shower is COLD. It was winter time and they state that it is solar heated - but there was no warmth to the water whatsoever. It was a miserable experience for me and the kids to take showers. They should specify this more clearly in the description of this campground even during the summer as it was the same way last time. They should consider some type of alternate heating system for at least the shower in this campground as it wasn't good - especially since it is open year round.

Buckhorn is always a pleasant camping area. Its always clean. The bathrooms are frequently cleaned. The sites are spacious.
