It's absolutely beautiful here and the restroom/shower facilities they have are always clean. We always chose Buckhorn Lake, whether it's a day trip or camping trip

This was my third visit to this buckhorn loop c and the first time I stayed in this campsite. I immediately noticed a lot of trash and cigarette butts littered throughout the site. It looked like previous campers dumped oil on the ground and in the campfire ring. There were several wasps that must be from the huge nests that are in the gables of the bathroom building.

I have camped in many campgrounds across the United States and this is one of the best I have visited. The layout of the campsites were beautifully constructed with attention paid to placing the fire pits in such a way that the normal wind directions would not send smoke into the tents and stone retaining walls that elevated the spacious campsites to allow for good drainage and level ground on the hillside. The bathrooms were clean, large, and had convenient motion detector lighting. I will definitely be camping here again in the future.

Clean facilities and great views. Be sure to drive down to the park and find a swimming hole in the creek!
