I have camped here every year for about half a decade. Ive always really enjoyed the campgrounds and the facilities offered. I have no complaints other than the cleanliness of the bathrooms/shower house. Still better than nothing but the cleanliness has declined. Just needs a deep scrub and a fresh coat of paint. That and some insect protection. Other than that I think the quality of the campground is second to none. I will continue to camp buckhorn often.

It was great. The weather was just right being the last of December. It is a very clean park, even the restrooms was very clean. There where several of us there at the park including a lot of tents, so I knew the restrooms were being used regular. We have been going to this park for several years because it is close to home. Just far enough for a good relaxing weekend. The only draw back is it would be nice if they could put sewer hook ups at each camp site. Yes, we will keep going back. Thank you

What a great treasure in Oklahoma that was shared by the Chickasaw people.

Very nice roomy campsite. Clean showers and restrooms. I was there two nights during the week so it wasnt crowded at all. Nice experience.

One of our favorite places to camp. Nice spaces. We did the D loop, first comes gets the spot. Faced the lake. Extremely well taken care of campground. Some spots on C loop are fantastic but the backing in can be somewhat of a challenge. Doable but slowly. I cant say enough positive things about ALL of the camp hosts and Ranger. Very pleasant and knowledgeable. They were probably our best hosts ever. The fishing pier is worth the drive. Its only about a mile away. The restrooms are very clean with great water pressure. Definitely will return. The town of Sulpher is about 15 minutes away and has a Walmart if you need anything.

The campground restrooms and sites are well maintained. Sites are spacious and surrounded by trees. Plenty to do in the area especially if you are interested in Native American history and culture. Dump station was too far away to tow my portable waste water tank. Would have been a big problem if we stayed for a week.

Electric and water hookups, campfire spots, picnic tables, and hooks for lamps at everysite. Sites were large and level. I chose to be near the bathhouse and very much enjoyed the clean facilities and hot showers. Next time I'd choose to be closer to the lake. The rangers were friendly and present making me feel safe. My cell signal was just 2 bars but enough for me to still work from the site. I'll definitely return there to camp again.

Park hosts were very helpful when my reserved spot was occupied by other campers, who were hearing and speech-impaired. They were sensitive to the needs of these special campers and located me to an acceptable unreserved site

This is a very nice area and we enjoy staying here, however, the loop C road is narrow. It's difficult to back into your site when vehicles are pulled off to the side or extending out into the road.

Nice place to camp to visit the Chicasaw National Recreation Area. Very close to all the sites of Chicasaw NRA. Camp in Site 78 which is asphalt and can park our towed vechile next to our MH, is close to restroom with hot shower and very clean. There are trees around the site and I believe that it would have been very shade in the summer/ fall or sprin

Very nice facility. Campsites clean and well kept, restrooms and showers well taken care of. One of my top five sites Ive visited, most highly recommended.

Beautiful campground area ,so many trees for shade, and the spots were nicely spaced apart. The Lake of the Arbuckles is very scenic. The restroom facilities were very clean. The heat for the showers is solar heat, so choose your shower time carefully to get some warm water. I have a long bed crew cab truck with a 42 fifth wheel, and there were a couple of turns on loop C that I just barely made it around. The camp host came by to check on us one evening when bad weather was expected, he was teally nice. Overall, we had fantastic time, and will probably go back again.

This is a great location that seems secluded and private and is still close to several highways making it very easy to reach.
There are a variety of activities available to explore very near by, most of which include beautiful scenery.

This place is so nice and quiet. This will likely be the only place we take our camper from now on. So much to do you have to stay for 2-3 days.
