One night stay on way south. Easy access, clean facilities, site overlooking the lake.

Great site. We parked a 33ft 5th wheel. Had 50amp and water. Only complaint is the site where you park the trailer was steep front to back. had to use 6" blocks in the back to get leveled up.Great place to get away for a while. very nice area and was very clean.

First, the park is beautiful and very clean with wonderful views of the lake. However, for us, towing a 44ft RV with a Ford F450, just getting thru the park and in our spot (85C), was so treacherous that we actually decided not to stay again on our return trip and cancelled. Reason: apparently someone decided that it was a good idea to put huge boulders on both sides of the entrance to EVERY spot; and along the winding road about every 10 ft, just everywhere that made it a nail biter to even get up the road.If you are in a smaller rig, this is a beautiful place, but is definitely not big rig friendly and thats a shame. Many thanks however to the very kind park ranger who helped guide us into our spot when just my husband driving with mirrors and camera and me going to every side and rear wasnt enough to feel comfortable around all those rocks.

Very nice campgrounds with new comfort station. Solar showers were ok but don't get real hot. Lots to do in the rec area, the town, and surrounding area. Nice hiking trails and plenty of spots to fish. Camp hosts were busy and very friendly. Camp ground was well maintained.

Wonderful, heavily wooded campground. Interesting venues around Sulphuric to learn the history of the Chickasaw Indians, the CCC camps and their lasting heritage. Very clean restrooms. A little challenging for big rigs due to narrow roads and tree limbs.

Park host was very nice and checked on everything often. Site 85c is a nice double wide site with the picnic table and fire pit behind the campsite. We love this camping area and there is much to do in this area. We love the hiking trails and the park is clean. The roads leading into buckhorn are a little rough just slow down and take it easy. Cant wait for the next trip.
