The sights are large, Good separation from neighbors, all facilities very well maintained and clean! Lake of the Arbuckles is one of Oklahomas few clear lakes. We went to just sit in the campground so we didnt venture out to sight see. The dump station doesnt have a garden hose hook up so we couldnt use the black tank spray clean feature - be sure your black tank is completely full when you go to dump it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this campground! It is a beautiful place, with great facilities. We hope to return to explore the area more.

We loved our stay at Buckhorn and hope to return! The trees and shade are amazing! The sites feel very private and large. We also loved the walking!

Nicely placed sites with 50 amp and water. Big trees too. Our site B11, was on the river so we could see the barge traffic. Visited Ft. Smith NHS. The 30 amp sites were also very nice on the opposite side of the park. We also walked the trail nearby and could easily bike.

Very nice spot. Very quiet area. Site is well maintained. Good power and easy access to the water connection. Great time for the shakedown cruise of our new RV.

It was a very nice stay. Bathrooms and shower area at Buckhorn were very clean. Campground is also clean and well maintained. No host at the time of our stay, but ranger very kind and accessible with any questions. Slight hiccup in beginning when we arrived because our reserved site was still occupied after checkout time so we had to wait to set up

We were there for two nights in the middle of the week and the place was very quiet - probably only 10% occupied. The site and grounds were spotless. The site was level and all hookups worked good. We really enjoyed the Rock Creek Multi-use Trail whose trailhead was very close.

Only a one night stay but we will be back. The road around the campground is a big narrow. The campsites are exceptionally well maintained. Parking areas were flat and level asphalt. The sites are quite close for an ACE campground but not like a private RV park. There were many small dumpsters making trash runs easy. We will stay here again.
