The campsite was beautiful and well maintained. We couldnt see many neighbors through the trees, but we did hear them. The raccoons were aggressive. We enjoyed hiking and biking while we were there and will definitely be back to enjoy the lake once it warms up.

We arrived and had no problems finding the campsite our site was clean and mostly all the campgrounds were clean with no trash they did have very accessible trash cans for nothing our trash at the end of the night also the campsites were pretty big I didn't notice that somewhere a little larger than others. The only one issue that I would say that I had is the showers water pressure was not so great and the draining so you're in puddling water but other than that our camp went very smoothly and we would definitely be back again for our fifth year next year.

Camp sites are pretty private. We had a great time. Enjoyed the curious raccoons each night. Did not enjoy the very upset cardinal that fought itself in our truck mirrors all day our entire stay. Will be back. Thanks for being open late in the season!

It was very natural and quiet, I had a cardinal keep visiting and the campsites were far enough apart to give me some security and privacy. Beautiful area, I felt safe and secure the whole time.

Campsites and restrooms are always very clean. The host is always was very helpful, came by to inform us of a possible storm coming in and where to go in case of tornadoes or hail.

Our experience at this camp Ground was great. We did primitive tent camping and enjoyed our time. We really liked the feature of the raised area for your tent and picnic table/fire pit. The scenery is beautiful, there are a lot of trees and greenery around. We were fairly close to the water even being at the first spot when you drive in. The host came by within 20 minutes of us arriving he was very kind and checked us in and answered our questions. It seems like a very well run campground and that definitely keeps the trash and riffraff out. Just note there is no water at your individual campground in primitive and you may need to drive to the bathroom which is what we did. The bathrooms are clean they also have showers available if needed. Take some time to drive around the area as its really pretty around the lake. You can bring your own firewood if you would like or you can cut any that is already on the ground for your use.

A very beautiful campground in a wonderful recreational area. Maybe this place is not as well known, but that should change as people hear about it.
