WE had an excellent time here. The site was clean and level with great access. The camp/pad sites are far enough a part that you are not on top of one another. They are nice and level with plenty of room for larger tents. The only thing I would change is the firepit is not moveable. It would have been nice to relocate it to a more usable spot.

Nice little lake. Campsites are a little too close for my liking and pitching a tent on concrete/gravel pad is a bit strange but otherwise it is very nice out there. First time camping there so I wasnt sure what to expect having booked the site unseen. Bathrooms are super nice, probably the best Ive ever seen at a campsite! The little convenience store about 3 miles out was great too, providing EVERYTHING you might need, including live bait for fishing. Probably not a spot I will camp at in during the peak season but I will definitely be back for fall/winter camping. I really enjoyed it. It was very clean. Kudos!

57C was a great campsite. Due to its location, it provided a bit more privacy and seclusion. It back right up to the lake with a great view. This site is a short walk to the very clean restroom/shower facilities. The host was friendly and helpful. Overall great campground.

No actual swimming beach nearby only 1 beach at the whole lake and it's 20 mins away. Seemed nice but was overgrown and not maintained like it could or should have been for $20 a night.

We love to camp at Buckhorn. :-) The area is clean and well kept. The restrooms and showers are new and clean. The camp host is always friendly and helpful. We have peace of mind seeing the Rangers patrol regularly. We have a fairly large tent and it fits on the camp pad with room to spare. There is so much to do in the area... Swim, fish, kayak, hike and more. Lovely views of the lake and lots of wildlife to enjoy. It's a wonderful campground.

In my opinion, Chickasaw National Recreation Area Buckhorn Loop has the absolute best tent camping sites in Oklahoma! The raised rock leveled tent sites drain well, are perfectly flat and are always clean and maintained.

Great site! Walk down to water to fish without high brush. No cell service except by restrooms, which was fine with us. Restrooms very clean. One, possibly two trees for hammocks right next to site, plenty of others nearby.
