the pad we got (07) was broken in one side but usable, some shade on it. we didn't hike the short trail so no opinion on that. we did went to Boykin park close to hike, very nice shadowed trail, the end not so much the building all with gratify that I don't really care about them.

Pine Creek is my all time favorite lake to camp. It was disheartening to see the water level was so low. We camped at N3 this time and some of the bricks were broken, moved and unsteady. My mom is elderly and it would be helpful to have handrails by the steps. Last but not least, PLANT SOME TREES!

The campground was amazing. Beautiful and quiet and peaceful. Had restroom facilities nearby and shower facilities within a small driving distance. Guard house opened later than usual so we were never able to officially check in as we would leave the campground to go explore the state and surrounding areas before they opened and arrive after dark. Our campsite was a gravel/grass pad to park on and pitch our tent. Our car was covered in ants after the first night (we arrived after dark so didnt put our tent up, thankfully- and then didnt even bother after that). There were so many of them, they were even coming in the car that first day as we were driving around sightseeing. We had to find a Walmart to buy any spray and bait traps. The second night before we pulled onto our pad we checked for any nests but saw none. So we backed in and parked. Again the following morning the car was covered in ants. Needless to say, we didnt even stay there our last night. We just continued our 14 hour drive home.

The sites are spacious with lots of space around them, most of the sites are well shaded and the view is great. Volunteer was very friendly and helpful. AT&T worked, Dish antennae had a clear view of satellites. Site long enough for camper and tow vehicle, site was concrete and fairly level.

Electricity goes out to easy and need big storm shelters through out the campgrounds had major storms come through and no where to go because you cant fit everyone in the showers! Need trash cans at group and regular campsites no where to through trash away unless you bring your own.

I was amazed about how large and spacious the sites were. Only 10 sites in loop 'O'....and mostly private. The FEMA built vault toilets were kept clean and stocked. Even though the website did not list picnic tables as an amenity, all had them, whew! We were tent camping on the RV pad, and there was plenty of room for the tent, truck and both kayaks. The host did not sell firewood, but told us that we could burn wood that we find on the ground, no cutting. Electricity and water available and working. Upon arrival, there was no barbecue grill, but upon notification, maintenance was there in an hour to install one. In our 4 day visit, we had bright/sunny, wind, mixed clouds, overcast, rain, thunder and lightening, all of which were wonderful. Our stay was perfect, and I did not want to leave! Just a great, well maintained campground well worth the visit.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
