A LOT OF THE SITES ARE IN DIRE NEED OF REPAIR, THE REST ROOMS COULD BE A LOT CLEANER,, A LITTLE CLOROX WOULD BE BETTER AND TWO SHOWERS YOUR ARE OUT OF HOT WATER FOR A WHILE OTHER THAN THAT IT WAS GREAT

This spot appears nice, however, for a paid camping spot at a camping facility we expected to have a better kept area. The grass was well above our ankles, knees in some areas and the spot says its for a 30amp hook-up. However, we spent the entire weekend ( in JULY) without our ac, refrigerator and dimmed lights. Thinking it was an electrical issue with our camper (first time camper owners), we spent the entire first night trouble shooting (even ran to Muskogee to buy new ac parts thinking it was the problem) instead of enjoying the trip with our kids. Also bring a split and extra hoses for your water, its a shared faucet, not a big deal, but it's not listed in the details and maybe bring a tent just incase!

SOME OF THE SITES ARE IN VERY BAD CONDITION DURING OUR STAY MY WIFE CAME OUT OF RV, LOST HER FOOTING 0N CRUMBLING PAD AND FELL FACE FIRST A TRIP TO ER IN STIGLER FOR CT AND 2 XRAYS. SHE IS THE 3RD PERSON I HAVE SEEN TAKE A TUMBLE OVER THE YEARS. SOME OF THE SITES ARE IN NEED OF REPAIR AND HAS BEEN FOR A VERY LONG TIME (YEARS) AND NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE.

ON DAY 4 OF 14 BECAUSE OF RAINS WHICH WE WERE WATCHING WATER RISE AND HAD BEEN FLOODED OUT 4 TIMES BEFORE, WE ASK PARK PERSONAL IF THE CORP HAD ANY IDEA WHEN THE LAKE MAY CREST,NO ANSWER, LATER THAT DAY JUST BEFORE DARK WITHOUT NOTICE SHUT THE ELECTRIC OFF WHILE WE WERE FISHING ALL THE RANGERS WERE AT A FISHING CLINIC WE NEEDED ELEC. FOR CPAP, TWO OTHER PEOPLE NEEDED ELEC. TO GET THEIR SLIDES IN AND COULD NOT MOVE. THE CORP OF ENG. HAD NO REGARD FOR CAMPER MEDICAL NEEDS OR HARDSHIPS CAUSED, THIS WAS DUMPED ON THE GATE ATTEN. TO RELOCATE PEOPLE, SHE DID A GREAT JOB DOING SO, BUT DID NOT KNOW THE ONE WE WERE SENT TO HAD NO ELEC. I AM 75 YEARS OLD MY WIFE IS 69, AFTER A DAY OF FISHING WE HAD TO WORK BY FLASHLIGHT GETTING PACKED UP TIL 2:AM, I THINK THE COMMAND AT CORP OFFICE SHOULD BE REPLACED THEY ARE VERY ILL TRAINED

Great, quite Campground. Camp host was nice and friendly.I had 50 ft of water hose and had to drive to Stigler for another hose. I did have a Y hose hookup, which you will need at most sites, as the water outlets are between sites (not one for each site).Would be nice to have paper towels and soap in the restrooms.

We stayed at 18, BCOV and the site was wonderful - plenty of space between sites and restrooms were clean. The only complaint was that there was a tree on the passenger side when backing in the RV that prevented us from opening the awning. Lake was clean and the beach area goes out for quite a while at a reasonable depth; perfect for the kids to swim, float, and play. We will be back!
