This was the nicest and most well kept COE park we have ever stayed in. Better than a lot of high dollar private parks too. We stayed in a huge well shaded pull through spot right on the lake. Sure wish it was closer to home!

C29 is the perfect spot. It's level, the pad is huge and in good repair. No breakers flipped, the tall fire pits are great. It would be WONDERFUL for East loop to be updated to the level of C29 and sites on that side of the park.

There are way to many people allowed to stay/live on permanent spots in this camping area. We have been RVing in this park for over 30 years. These permanent folks are by no means neat and clean they are starting to bring a lower level of neatness in this area.

Loved the large spaces and had a nice view of the lake. The kids enjoyed the playground. Will definitely stay here again.

Grass was so high that you could lose your grandchild just feet from campsite. Gate Attendants are awesome, helpful, bathrooms are well taken care of and clean, Park Rangers are polite and eager to assist you in any way. Great Place For Families. One thing I find annoying for campers is the 100% reservable camp. What you find is the campground is only partially occupied from Sunday Evening till Friday. You cant reserve for the 2 week allotted timeframe cause all weekends are already reserved. This leaves the park empty for 4 days and not many want to pull down and set up for a short period of time. When the park was first come first serve several years ago it was always full. Yes I agree some sites should be reservable but also for the betterment of all involved there needs to be some first come first serve sites available for those that want to camp other than just the Monday through Friday Timeframe since all sites are reserved for weekenders. Youre losing money with those sites being empty during the week, and making a lot of sore campers from all the talk Ive been hearing. We have grown up camping at Belle Starr and as I see it, its the best campground on the lake. We have seen many changes over the years, and these that were implemented this year are the worst ever from our standpoint. Hope its something you will look at in the future. Thanks
