Staff were very nice, site was clean, view was great. Showers and restrooms were clean. For the pet lovers watch out for stickers they are everywher and ants are active, bring some repelent.

Theres a very nice private beach on this loop. We had a great stay. The space is tight in this particular spot. There was not much room for my zip on room to my teardrop trailer. Ants were everywhere, you cant wear sandals here. Park and environment were all great.

This lake has very little water, our campsite used to have water around it but after draining it to Hefner and the broken damn the trees have grown up all around where the water was
If you like no phone signal which is perfect for some
Area was really cool but with lack of lake we couldn’t fish nearby our site
Pool looked awesome and trails are awesome
Going to have to go back to golf in the fall

I chose our site online having never visited this park. The site pavement was in pretty poor shape and made it somewhat hard to level. There were some low hanging limbs which did not affect our trailer but might for a tall rig? The park was nice and I made notes of better site choices. There were some in worse shape than ours, especially along the lakefront. The water spigots were shared by two sites at many of the sites and we had to use all three water hoses we had and add a splitter. We had a roomy site right on the water, and overall we enjoyed our stay. Park was full on the weekend but pretty empty by Monday. Nice looking beaches, a couple of playgrounds and group picnic shelters.The signage entering the park could have been better. Or perhaps I should have studied the online map better before we arrived? W= West Loop, C= Central, E= East. C loop seemed to have the best sites. I love ACOE parks!

We really loved the spot we chose and enjoyed the area and stay immensely. The only real difficulty that we encountered was the out of control ants. Within hours they were in our camper. As we looked closer, we discovered that the ant hills are thick around that spot (others probably too). We had some ant trap baits that helped lessen all the ants, but, they were a hastle. Otherwise, we loved the nice cool breeze coming off the water and enjoyed walking the campground and basically just enjoying our trip.

We reserved a spot on the water. Upon arrival there were dead fish that someone had left after filleting them, on the shore, rotting. The park was filled with trash and debris. We cancelled our reservation and went to Eufaula State Park which was AMAZING!!
