Grass was knee high around our sight. All the day campers allowed in left trash on the beach. They should be charged as well. Gate attendants and host do a good job but need to be charging these people.

We always enjoy our time at Belle Starr. Large campsites that are nice and spread out from other campsites and are close proximity to the beach. My only complaint this stay was they had not mowed. Trekking thru the tall grass and stickers to get to the beach and the water spigot was NOT a pleasant experience.

We love staying at Belle Starr. Nice spot we stayed at. The only bad thing I would say is the threads on the water hook up for the RV wash out are messed up and have been for a while so be prepared to get wet.

We did not have a grill at campsite. There was a pole which no grill, I called and spoke to Tracy and he advised me they were not replacing grills anymore at bell star. But it would have been nice if we would have been advised that we wouldnt have a grill, we would have brought one from our home but instead we had to go and purchased one.My wife and I drove around to look at other campsites and they had grills

My only complaint is how far the water hydrants are from some of the sites. Would have been helpful to have known - would have brought an extra hose. We had to move our motorhome off the pad to get close enough to the hydrant. Love the spot! Will be back next season! Wish you were open all year long!

Nice quiet location, dump station close by, great kayaking. Excellent stay.
