Lots of stickers this time of the year, but still our favorite place to camp.

The lake itself is nice. The campground needs attention. The showers are inoperable in the E loop. There is trash along the lakeshore. It's too bad as the sites are nicely sized especially in E Loop. The other area seemed too close; not enough privacy. Also you may want to load up with water before you park or bring a splitter and really, really long hoses as "shared water" spigots are few & far between. Still, we enjoyed our stay and the time swimming in the lake; casual neighbors.

On the East Loop, the black top pads you park the trailer on have been gradually caving in for years. They need to be resurfaced. No working bathhouse on the East Loop either. They closed it last summer because of septic tank issues and we were hoping would be fixed during the winter. But it's still closed. In some spots, 2 or 3 campsites share a water spicket. If the Corp would fix those issues, would definitely improve the camping experience.

Great sandy Beach area. Electric and water on sites. Playground in the center. Only down side was the sand burs.

Bathrooms on east side are in pretty bad shape. Most of the campsites on the east side have a lot of the blacktop on the trailer pads washed away. But other than that, nice place to camp.
