It was whole hog weekend in Eufaula, my husband and I didnt go but my daughter and granddaughter did and enjoyed the venders in the park and purchased a few things. My husband and I stayed at the campsite per se and enjoyed the boat and wave runner. Always enjoy our time camping at Belle Starr

Trees at my sight were dead and limbs fell on my camper. The park workers need to remove dangerous dead trees

Campsite was right on the shoreline, which is a nice sandy one. Lots of folks fishing in the area, which was calm compared to the open part of the lake. Bathroom took almost a day to get restocked with toilet paper, so bring some of your own, just in case. Sand burrs are a menace in this park, so be aware that you'll be picking them out of everything during your stay. Great sunrises and sunsets at this part of the lake. Overall, a nice park that we'll stay at again, but maybe try at at different time of year because of the burr situation.

We stayed a glorious 8 days at Belle Starr part in E14 (20-23 October) then moved to E13 (23-28 October) due to E14 was already reserved through the time we wanted to stay. They are both excellent spots and didnt take much to move over. I love Fall camping because usually not many people during the week. We did have a day and half of rain but even that was enjoyable snuggling with my honey. Go lots of fishing in even tho the lake is really low due to barely any rain, family came on Saturday shared a great meal and had a great visit. This was are second season staying at Belle Starr and always love the Spring and Fall camping the best. Seems like the neighbors were more noisy (after 10 pm into 1-2 AM) this year during the hotter months. However, we survived and will be back.

Nice campground, spacious sites, nice dump stations, beautiful view/ access to the lake. Bathrooms were a little dated, but clean.

Visited East loop this time. Camp hosts do a wonderful job of inspecting and cleaning sites.

We had a large campsite right on lake Eufaula with our own beach! The campground is very large with lots of room for walking and biking. I saw a Bald Eagle flying over the edge of the lake.Lots to do in the area, Honey Springs Battlefield, Fort Smith, and Route 66 in Tulsa Blue Dome district.

Let me start by saying Ill keep coming to Belle Starr because Ive loved camping in this park since it was built, however conditions could be better. Just had a dead limb fall on my boat. They have rehabbed some campsites that greatly need the work which is appreciated, yet other maintenance items need to be addressed, including tree trimming, picking up construction debris etc. that would greatly improve the appeal of the park. I have called the Lake Eufaula project office to voice my concerns, and I know they as everyone else have budget restraints, but things could definitely be better taken care of at Belle Starr.

It was a beautiful and quiet spot on the lake. There are a lot of sand spurs so be very careful with your pets.

This is one of our favorite campgrounds. Heartily recommend Katt Daddy's at the Eufaula Marina, and I Love Bacon in Eufaula for breakfast. Both great restaurants.
