The water was brown and rusty looking coming out of the water hook up sight. The grass was over grown on the utility side. There was a fire ban. Kind of defeats the purpose of camping but nothing on the sight stated there was a fire ban, so no campfire. The gates for entrance lock at 10pm but you cant check in till 6pm, again not on the website. Last but not least-fire ants every where! They bit my husband, me, the kids. We will not do this campsite again. Aug. 31st 2024

Our water faucet did not work, had to go to next camp for water, The Bathrooms were locked, we went to gate office it was always closed, finally knocked on the camp host door and nobody was there. The Electric went off on the whole loop and we were all asked to leave the camp site on Sunday

We enjoyed our three day stay here very much. The grounds were very well-kept, as were the bathrooms. However, there was never any soap in the bathrooms. The campground does offer free firewood, which was fantastic. The only downside was that we could hear what was either a shooting range, an artillery school or just a very popular hunting grounds. It must have been close by as we could hear it pretty regularly from inside of our tent. But overall our stay was great and the scenery was nice. We will definitely be staying here again!

The campground location was nice and peaceful. However there was an excessive amount of dog poop everywhere around our campsite and the surrounding campsites. I was blown away with how much there was…on the cement pad site, around the picnic tables, everywhere. You couldn’t even walk around our campsite or down to the lakes edge without having to watch every step you took to avoid stepping in it. Not sure if they have a long term resident with dogs that just lets them go wherever and then not pick up after them or what but it was very disappointing.

We flushed the water from the site tap for a while but it still came out quit orange. We did bring drinking water with us so was not a huge issue. I thought there was a fishing dock where we were staying but it was not at our site. No big deal. The lights in one bathroom didn't work and there was never any hand soap. After I knew that I brought my own.
