Excellent stay. We camp here at least a couple of times a year in a motor home , Always a good stay. We have AT&T and sometimes the coverage is spotty, concerning in case of emergency but otherwise excellent camp ground with an exceptional host.

Canadian is a great place to stay. We love the prairie dogs and watching them. The bathrooms were kept clean and tidy. The trees are growing in the A side area. While it will take time, we love the ease of concrete pads that are well taken care of.

Nice campground in the Oklahoma back country (first time visiting Oklahoma ;) ). Very friendly staff, very good amenities. The views over the lake were simply stunning! Would definitely come back!

Should have been a 5 but....... no map of where campsites were located. I get there are no staff but there should be a paper copy with camp sites identified on a window. Might also help find the beach. Says there is one but we never found it. Bathrooms good but needed more regular cleaning. Too many burrs on the ground. You also need to better identify that you have pull thru sites. On the plus side this is an absolutely beautiful area. We enjoyed exploring.

Canton lake is always a great place to camp! A few stickers in the grass but otherwise great.

We enjoyed camping by the dock. There is no shade but there are covered picnic tables at each site. It will be a few years before the young trees provide trees in this area. For shade, stay at the B section. Roman Nose State Park is not far and a nice day trip. Hiking below the dam is available. The Mexican restaurant in Canton on the side street was very good with generous helpings. The local proprietors are very friendly and helpful.
Needs better kayak access. One loop is very hot, no shade and super windy.

Great park large concrete pads, very clean, excellent view of the lake Only draw back no trees. We were there for about six days in extreme heat. Early morning fishing midday we spent inside in the air conditioning. Wonderful location for early spring and fall. We plan on returning very soon.

Mobile Data Speed Map
#123
If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
