I have frequented this campground over the years as a gateway to The Enchantments and other climbing attractions in the Leavenworth area. It is always quiet, clean, and well maintained. Love it here on the banks of the Icicle River.

Eightmile is a really nice site along Icicle Creek. We stayed for two nights, but at two different campsites because reservations fill up quick during the summer. The first site (site 34) was REALLY small, but the maintenance staff/host groomed and raked the site before we arrived, so it was very tidy. Site 34 is maybe 50 feet from the creek, but you kinda have to walk through a shared campsite space to access it. We stayed in site 33 (right across the pavement from 34) on the second night, and it was quite spacious.

We had site 14 which was next to the bathroom and icicle road. There were cars driving by all night and it was quite loud and the bathroom smell was very strong at our site. I would recommend staying in loop b if possible for a way better experience! There are bear boxes at the camp sites.

Well maintained campgrounds, site 2A is close to the entrance and located by the river. Spacious spot for a few camping tents, picnic table, and bear locker on site.

Site 001 has a very short walk to a nice private area down by the river. This site is a bit open and gets some sun which is great for solar. The downside is that it is next to the group site which had a large group that played loud music in the evenings. There is a bathroom close by but it is a pit toilet, yuck.

The campground is very well maintained. Unfortunately, I couldn't locate a location for washing.

Eightmile Campground is a great home base for other activities. Our campsite was clean and ready to enjoy. We try and go in the spring and fall to really enjoy all the area has to ofter

Once again, we and our grandchildren had a great time. Icicle creek was warmer than last year, so there was more fun in the water. A highlight was watching a bear cross the river to feast on blueberries on an island.

Campsites were all close to water and bathrooms, very clean, easy access to Icicle Creek. Enough trees for good shade and privacy. A great location for getting to trailheads and into town. Overall, an excellent campground!

This is a beautiful campground. It is well kept by the camp host. We like it because the individual sites have a lot of trees and brush around them making for privacy. A couple of the older restrooms could use an update (the toilets are really low to the floor). The only other issue is that the available water is rusty - which isn't too big a deal for us because we bring our own drinking water and only use the water for washing dishes.Otherwise, we love this campground. It's in a beautiful area with numerous hiking trails for every skill level.

Very clean, nice campground with easy access to the water. 20 minute drive to Lake Stuart trailhead so its a nice jumping off point for hiking. Only recommendation is to get a site away from the road. There are cars going by all day and night.

We go to eightmile every year and love it. Perfect location, great sites. Our only complaint is that we usually stay at site 33 but there's a huge log through the area where we always out our tents before so now it's much smaller. We stayed at site 29 this time which is supposed to be a double but it was tiny! It only for our 6 person tent and it would've fit another two person but not 12 people like it's supposed to. So I'm upset we paid the double price for it

Eightmile was perfect for our needs. We stayed 2 nights, hiking to Lake Colchuck was our reasoning for picking this campground and it was an easy drive to get to the trailhead (well, the dirt roads and potholes on the way werent easy-but the proximity to the trailhead was great). Loved being close to the creek and putting our feet in after the long hike was amazing! The sites were well maintained and spacious. Wish there was a spot for RV dump/potable water fill, but other than that it was perfect.

Eightmile Campground provided a fantastic experience for us. We stayed in site 1, which another camper had described as "the best site" and it did not disappoint. This site provided an almost private access to the Icicle River in which one could keep a chair riverside and enjoy the sounds of the cool river up close. Other sites on the campground seemed to be also enjoyable, including the group site which also had a nice riverside area. No hookups, but the amazing surrounding made up for that 10 fold!

Site is Backed up to Icicle Rd. Backing in with a 35' 5th wheel was a lil bit of a challenge due to the narrow tree lined road. That is standing trees and felled trees, which could have or should have been cut back even further. Lots of low hanging branches overhead as you drive thru the campground. The site accommodated our 5th wheel just fine and had plenty of privacy and space.

Beautiful weekend and the camp hosts do a great job cleaning the campsite for the new occupant.

Beautiful! Perfect car camping spot, along the Icicle Creek River, cold plunging, scrambling around on the rocks, hiking up the Enchantments, sneaking into Leavenworth for breakfast when you're tired of cooking :). This is truly one of my favorite places to camp!!
@PriunkaBFD09B0 · Camped on May 28, 2025 at Campsite #21
The campground is nice and clean, you can hear the loud sound of water just passing by the campground.No flashable toilet. In their website they didn't mention about bear activity to mentally prepared for any such kind of experiences and in each campsite they provided food storage locker.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
