Great place to camp. We had a good amount of space at our campsite. Easy water access for small boats or paddle boards. Staff was on top of changes in reservations and updated signs daily.

This is one of our favorite lakes. And 25 is our second favorite spot. Well kept and the fishing is great. Actually this place is terrible you should stay home!!!

Loved this campground and perfect little lake. Facilities were clean, lots of shade, loved the comfort staton with flush toilets and running water but it is on the other non reservation side of the campground. Same with dumpsters, non on the reservation side. No cell service, Verizon. Will defiantly come back!

On a beautiful lake in a fairly remote location. We enjoyed swimming in the lake. We didn't have a boat nor did we fish, but I imagine that this would be an excellent place for both. I've never seen so many fish jumping as I did here in the early morning. The sound of the loons was beautiful and enchanting. The campground was well-maintained and cared for. There was no cell coverage for me, but that was a plus in my book.

The camping spot was perfect - shaded, clean, quiet, soft ground for a tent, two parking spots, and right alongside Lake Bonaparte. Firewood was easily found on the grounds. Restrooms are close by but there was no note of showers. There is a resort just down the road where you can get basic supplies and have breakfast in the morning. I was tickled by seeing my name on the placard when I pulled in for the dates I reserved. Friendly attendant :).

Everything was in good shape, and the lake was beautiful and not cold.

From the moment we arrived at our campsite, #25 near the water, and were greeted by a mama duck and her 5 ducklings, the entire experience was delightful. What a beautiful place!

Camp Hosts were fantastic! Bathrooms were always tidy and clean, and they were available for questions anytime you needed them! Will be back!

There were several unruly campers that the camp host did not enforce for all posted rules. (Noise ordinance meaning generators running all night long and dogs running all over in our camps and running in front of kids on bikes and causing them to crash.). There was a gentleman that came up from Trails and Rec. out of Tonasket and cleared a spot for our boat at our campsite. His name was Damien Ramon. This was very much appreciated!! We have been camping here just about every year for over 30 years and are enjoying making memories now with our grandkids. This trip was a little stressful because of other unruly campers. We love Bonaparte Lake!!!

Nicely kept campsites, and restrooms. Host was nice and checked that all was well.

weather was windy and rainy but even that did not stop the great time we had.Love hearing the loons, campground was quiet and peaceful and fill-in hostwas good at cleaning bathrooms and keeping it stocked.

Great little campground. There is good access for fishing and a solid swimming area. Excellent place to get away for a weekend.

Im leery of giving a great review because at the moment I feel the campground is a secret gem. We had an oversized site with no one in the adjacent sites. We had direct water access which was also secluded. The lake is perfect for SUP and kayaking. Theres a floating platform for swimming near the boat launch. The camp hosts were very friendly and helpful (someone was in our site upon our arrival). The only thing that was mildly unpleasant were the vault toilets but who spends too much time there?

A very quiet, peaceful and clean campsite. We came for a week to get away and recharge and that we did. The camp host was friendly. The boat ramp and lake was a very short walk from our site. We got to see several deer, rabbits, squirrels, ducks and other birds. There was no cell service and that's exactly what we wanted. A cup of coffee and reading a good novel by the campfire. We will be coming back and reserving this site again.

Great setting.

This campground is a gem! The lake is serene and beautiful, with resident loons. Despite the lack of cell service (or maybe BECAUSE of this?) we had a wonderful time. Our campsite was right on the lake, so we could put our kayak into the water easily and often. There were not many mosquitoes, and our neighboring campers were very pleasant.

One of our favorite places to camp. Only negative is no cell signal, but for some that may be a plus.

This is our family's 4th year camping here, so we obviously love it! Biggest downfall is lack of cell service, showers and flush toilets on reserved side. Biggest asset to us is the quiet lake as we are a kayaking family.

My husband and I spent 4 nights in spot 24 and it could not have been more wonderful! large campsites, wonderfully laid out, clean, and beautiful setting. Small boat launch is perfect for small fishing boats. MY husband used to camp here as a kid, and was happy to see it rather unchanged from 25 years ago. The fish are rather over-fished in the lake, but that did not put a damper on our wonderful weekend!

This camp ground is remote. There is no cell service. Nice and quiet in the sites on the south side. Seems to be lots of fish in the lake, though we didn't catch any. Lead weights are not allowed so get some steel ones before coming. Lake is a good size for paddle boarding, though wind picks up in the afternoon quite a bit. Camp sites are spacious and near the lake. We've been here three years in a row for Memorial Day. In 2023 there were a lot of mosquitos unlike prior years. Also, the trails on the west side of the lake are destroyed due to the fire that came through a couple years ago and then water washing parts of the hillside down. No showers.

Had a great time there for our wedding reception. The camp sites are great, the pavilion and huge camp fire pit really came in handy.
Will be back

Recreation .Gov only shows the sites at Bonaparte lake which can be reserved. Even the map of the campground does not show the other sites which do not require a reservation. These gives a person false sense that they must reserve a site through Recreation. Gov with its service fee.

Our site was very clean and had an excellent, large fire pit with flat rocks around the edge. The big main washroom was very clean, well lit, heated (!) and had plenty of paper towels and toilet paper.
We loved this campground.

We loved the lake! Our Campspot was very nice as well!! If I had any complaints we did have a decent problem with bees 😔 they did have bee traps or whatever setup which may have actually been attracting them to our site? Not sure but if your allergic be careful this year. The only other problem I had was unleashed dogs running up on us in our own camp spot. If I didn’t have my own dog with us I probably wouldn’t have cared. But my dog is on a lead and very well secured having a big German Shepard running up on him multiple times in our area was not a great experience for him. Even with those couple of issues we will probably be making this one of our yearly go to spots for quite lake camping!!

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
