Windy Point campground was great. The camp host kept the grounds and bathrooms very clean. Plan to return soon.

Very quiet and next to the river. some road noise at night but the river pretty much drowns that out.

Great stay! My wife and I spent the night there. We had a great time, the campground was clean, our spot was shaded next to the river. Having the sound of the river made for a relaxing night. The campground is aptly named, there was 15 mph winds that night. While we didn't have an problem in our tent, be prepared for possible winds.

Booked site 9. It’s primarily shady, most of the day. I was concerned there might not be good access to the river, but found there’s even a little beach, very little. Had camped in site 4 the last 3 years. Prefer this one. Oh, and the “waterfall” people have posted about, was more of a trickle. Might be better earlier in the year, but not by July. Still a nice site, more space than I thought it would have.

A small campground with a minimum of comforts, close to Naches but remote enough to make it feel like you're away from it all.

Except for the passive aggressive Manager staying in the campgrounds nicest spot, highly recommend this smaller, quite campground on the river

Beautiful view of falls across the river from our site.

I already submitted a review, but forgot to comment about the great cell service! We were surprised and anticipated being “disconnected” for a few days and disappointed just a little ;-). It’s great for emergencies and good to know we can call out or receive calls as needed. Thank you!

This is a small campground but the sites are decently spaced. I would recommend this to families with children as the river that runs past has lots of areas shallow enough for small children although the current is swift. The campsite is located close enough to Naches to get supplies and Yakima is just a bit further (35 minutes) away. Choose the sites closest to the river as the ones not on the river face a busy highway and are not as shaded. As an extra treat, there is a small waterfall across the river from site 9.
