Our campsite, site #2, accommodated our 28 travel trailer and 3/4-ton tow vehicle perfectly. The pull-through site was spacious enough to comfortably fit our rig and still have extra space. If youre towing a trailer in the campground, make sure to drive at a slow pace and be mindful of your mirrors. Some large motorhomes had to navigate corners and seesaws to avoid hitting trees, which gave us morning entertainment. It is doable but plan your turns and you will be fine. Sunshine illuminated our 180-watt solar panels for approximately 4 hours during a sunny July day. During this time of year, we have low electrical requirements for camping and the solar power is sufficient to maintain the trailer battery banks and charge our cell phones. We didnt need to use the vault bathrooms, however they appear clean and well maintained by the camp host. Aside from some generator noise by neighboring campers and the occasional highway road noise from motorcycles, the campground is pleasantly quiet. Given the campgrounds close proximity to the highway, it was a concern at first. As the evening approached, the road noise settled down. A beautiful campground if you are looking for a base camp to go hiking or exploring the area. The campground is about 1-1.5 hours away from Paradise visitor center.

We really enjoyed this campground. Campsites were generous in size. Our 85” pull thru was large enough for our Class A and a friend’s car who was tent camping with us. The fire pits are very large and have a nice pot grate above them. Our site, #2, had a nearly level driveway, and the rest of the campsite was also mostly level. Roads through the park were all paved and in excellent condition. Some turns were pretty sharp. Campsites are well spaced from each other. Well water is available near the info board at the campground entry. Camp hosts were active and visible the whole time we were there. The only facilities are pit toilets. They were stocked with TP and we’re as well maintained as a pit toilet can be. This campground is a reasonable drive to Mt. Rainier. While we don’t need full hookups to RV camp, it is nice to dump your tanks before heading on your way. It would be great if this park had a dump station. The closest dump station is a private campground a number of miles to the east.
