We had a wonderful time! The sturdy and large corrals were great. And easy water access was much appreciated! The camp host, Ken was the best! Very helpful and friendly. Always there for you if needed. We loved Ken. Beautiful trails and scenery.

Excellent. Clean and well-run. Only complaint is the camp closes before the very BEST time of year! Please please please stay open into October, which is a wonderful time of year to ride that area

This place was so nice and relaxing for our group trip. The horses were safe, getting water was easy. Many trails to choose from.

I booked by calling the phone # for recreation.gov. We had lousy internet where we were at the time. I was looking for a camp site for a Friday and Saturday night in the Salmon La Sac region. The phone call took a while, but eventually, afeter she checked all the sites in the area, the lady told us there were spots @ Cayuse, which we booked for 2 nights, which we paid for after we were transferred to a second lady. She did say it was a horse camp. But we have horses at home, so that was ok, we like horses (well, my wife does, anyway). The call took about 30 minutes, but we had a spot, we thought.......
When we arrived the camp host told us we couldn't stay there, because this was a horse camp, and we had to bring horses. He was not very understanding. Given that we had booked and paid for a site, it was going to sit empty for the weekend. He didn't care.
So we had made a donation, and moved on. Luckily we found a spot by the river.
Frustrating.
